Villa Il Frantoio and Lilmar

We visited Il Frantoio with very special friends as part of my wife’s birthday celebrations. We had a wonderful stay with everything being just perfect. Our 2 bedroom apartment was really well equipped and very comfortable with a large private patio space. Breakfast was fabulous and it was great to have fruits and other breakfast ingredients which had been grown in the hotel gardens. Giacomo was a wonderful host who took the time to chat to us every morning and he had plenty of good suggestions for things to do and places to see. We booked his private boat for a 4 hour trip along the Amalfi coast. We enjoyed drinks during the cruise and a couple of stops for us to have a swim. The rest of the team at Il Frantoio are all wonderful and super helpful. Cristina looked after us on arrival and was on hand to prepare some delicious lemonchello spritz drinks by the pool. Tony was busy preparing our breakfast each morning, and Aruna kept out apartment clean with a daily refresh - always with a big smile on his face. We also met Giulio - Giacomo’s Dad, who tended to the garden areas and made the most wonderful jam for the breakfast buffet. Overall this place is faultless and I hope we can return again some time. Great Hotel & Service Excellent place, with an amazing view!! The service provided was extraordinary, always pending of my family needs, even when we were exploring the town! We were informed about best places to visit or information on how to use local transportation to move around. Simply, one of the best experiences, thank you to Giacomo and Tony for this great service and stay!!

Property was excellent. Clean. Wonderful view. Spectacular sunset. Giulio and team were very accomodating. Best breakfast. Be aware there are a lot of steps to get to property.

Guilio and his team at the villa were incredible. I unfortunately made the mistake of bringing very heavy luggage but they helped me carry it up AND back down the *220* stairs at the end of my stay, I can’t tell you how much I appreciated it! Beautiful views, amazing refreshing pool and delicious breakfast every morning! You can’t go wrong staying here!

The property is nice, but it is old. The bathroom shower had mold and the sink wasn’t too clean. The sheets and towels did not smell nice but we saw the cleaning lady daily washing and cleaning.
