My wife and I traveled to Italy for our Honeymoon in August of 2024. We spent two weeks traveling through Florence/Tuscany, the Italian Riviera, and the Amalfi Coast. We stayed in 5 or 6 different hotels during our two week trip. We truly did not cut any corners on this trip and while the entire trip was beautiful, and we loved everywhere we stayed, nothing compared to our stay at La Barbera. We had never experienced such gracious, friendly, and professional hotel staff before. The Amalfi Coast in August is extremely hot but the staff made sure to help us with our luggage and offer us a welcome drink of our choice (we both chose the freshly squeezed lemonade). We had booked one of the hotel rooms without a hot tub as the hot tub rooms were a bit pricier. We were brought up to our room to find that the staff surprised us with one of the rooms with a hot tub! They also left us flowers and a handwritten note. I could go on and on about this place, the staff, the views, the BREAKFAST. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you, Silvia, Roberto, Francesco, and the entire team at La Barbera. We will be back!

We spent our 10 year anniversary at B&B La Barbera and had an amazing time. The only thing better than the views are the wonderful staff that work there. They truly treat you like family, making sure all your needs are meet. Special thanks to Sylvia for all her kindness, she is so sweet, and we never forget her.

This hotel is just amazing and one of the most memorable hotels I stayed in. Amazing location with super clean and beautiful rooms with private views of the Amalfi coast. The breakfast is superb and staff are very friendly and helpful. When I go back to Amalfi, I will reserve this hotel before booking my flight.

The best of what Italy has to offer. Just Perfect
Place was exceptional!! Family run business and the customer service was just fantastic. Sylvia and the brothers are perfect hosts. The views are to die for and the rooms, terraces and public areas and so beautifully decorated. We had a room with a hot tub and this made our 25th anniversary perfect. Breakfast was the best we have had on our whole trip along the coast with the best yogurt ever. It’s a little bit of paradise. Even when I forgot something out the room Roberto came and brought it to the next hotel we were staying at! Thank you all. We will be returning 😊

Amazing Stay
Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with a stay at B&B La Barbera was just perfect. Sylvia was the best hostess. Answering any questions, helping with dinner recommendations, whatever we needed she was there for us. What a beautiful pleasant person. Fransisco and Roberto could not have been more charming and helpful. To the other staff members please forgive me for not mentioning you by name. Thank you. Picture perfect stay. Außergewöhnlich gut
Ein tolles Haus mit liebevoll gestaltetem Ambiente. Unsere Zimmer hatten jeweils eine mega Terrasse mit Whirlpool und phantastischem Ausblick auf das Meer sowie Positano. Das Team ist super freundlich und serviert jeden Morgen ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Vom ersten Augenblick an fühlten wir uns willkommen und genossen die familiäre Atmosphäre. Zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit wurde auf alle Fragen und Anliegen eingegangen, zudem gab es Tipps und Informationen. Eine herzliche Umarmung und ein kleines Geschenk zum Abschied rundeten eine wunderbare Woche ab.

A slice of heaven!
If you're thinking about booking La Barbera, my advice would be just to do it - It was absolutely perfect and by far the best property we've ever stayed in!
Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco went above and beyond to help us with planning every little detail of our trip to make it extra special and stress free for us from the very first moment that we arrived.
The rooms and terrace are stunning, and the view is even better, it really does take your breath away. The room was completely spotless and tidy each day. One day we even came home to a birthday gift for my partner which was so sweet. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and it was so lovely to sit on the beautiful terrace each morning. Make sure to request the cake of the day with breakfast each morning, all of them were soooo tasty.
We will not stop raving about this property, and the amazing hospitality that all of the staff provide. We hope to return very soon as I am not sure anywhere will beat this! Thank you for the best trip ever.
