We had a great stay at Mama Shelter Prague! The hotel is stylish, cozy, and has a great atmosphere with friendly staff. A big thank you for the upgrade—we really appreciated it!
The only downside was the lack of a kettle in the room. We later found out that it was available upon request, but for a 4-star hotel, it felt like a bit of a letdown. There was also no room service, so we had to ask for ice at the bar.
Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back!
I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and efficient.
The hostel is a bit far from the city, but there was no problem because I could come enough by tram once. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was clean and delicious. If you come back to Prague, I'll definitely hear it again.

Because I had to go to the nearby art museum for business, I chose this hotel. When I first booked, the price was relatively flat. As I got more and more connected to the days of the near the art museum, the price began to be expensive , but the overall is not bad.
Although it is a little far from the airport bus and the city center, it is quite accessible as there are several tram stations nearby.
Prague Castle can be reached in 12 minutes from the station about 3 minutes from the hotel.
.
There are many restaurants within walking distance, so you won't have any trouble finding dinner. Of course, there are also mini shops.
.
The interior had a retro feel of Prague.
It was also clean.
.
I thought Wi-Fi was only available in the shared areas, but it was properly available in the room.
.
The only amenities provided were solid soap, shampoo, and body wash. (This is common in European hotels.)
.
It was a hassle that there were no tissues in the room. (I used toilet paper instead.)
.
Breakfast was a buffet type, with few vegetables but a lot of fruit. There was a wide variety of sweet cakes, pies, and breads, so it was a delight for those who like sweet things. The homemade strawberry compote that came with the pancakes was very delicious, so I ate a lot of it along with the yogurt.

Enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing stay at Absolutum. Check in procedures easy, friendly & welcoming staff. Restaurant food was good and a full mini-bar was well stocked.
Location was fine for me as I love walking, but its a 30 minute walk into the old town and there is a nice coffee shop 200-300m away from the hotel. Would happily stay there again.
Nice staff, nice place, 20-30 minutes far from old city by walk. Room was pretty good. We stayed in family room. There are most of the equipment for cooking, if you want. No parking place but they offer 2 blocks behind a parking place, another hotel parking area. Easy to walk to city center and also there are local transportation. Easy to reach many places.
The location is right in front of the station.
Most importantly, the reception staff are very friendly
The facilities are a bit old, but it is still recommended to use clean and well-maintained
I will use 100 pharmacists next time
Very nice surprise, especially for a first time in Prague. Cheaper during the week, ideal for a family or 2,3 friends, view of the Ministry of the Interior but 2 minutes from the tram and a very beautiful park with incredible views of the whole city. Just missing a coffee maker to be perfect. And the very friendly owner speaks English and French. I loved it.

Great
AAnonymous UserMy wife and I had a great 3-night stay at Plaza Prague Hotel. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of a complimentary bottle of wine. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel’s location made it easy to explore the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to others visiting Prague.
SSarah H.Amazing room, very spacious, comfortable and clean with everything you need within walking distance. Nice window and big beds. Very nice and helpful staff at the front desk. The PIN code to enter the building and room is very convenient. Thanks for the earplugs.
GGuest UserHostel is clean and has a nice garden/bar area that’s perfect for meeting new people. It is a little far away from the usual tourist spots, but accessible by tram.
GGuest UserAdvantages:
- clean small room
- tasty breakfast (especially the small croissants, they were probably the best I've ever eaten - like home-made)
- nice and helpful people at the reception
Disadvantages:
- I couldn't open the window because I could hear the renovation going on
- the window was a bit too small, although there were absolutely no views outside the window
- you could hear everything when someone was talking in the corridor
- only the people at the reception seem to know English
Just right if you don't plan on staying in the hotel all day, but going out to explore the city.
GGuest UserWhere to start with plus Prague. Honestly I had a rollercoaster of a stay. With many positives and negatives. The main thing I’d say about plus is that it is definitely not the best hostel I’ve stayed in but in Prague it is by far the cheapest. This id the main positive. The location is a little out of the way firstly.
Also during my stay people attempted to rob me twice on two separate occasions. The first being in my room while I was sleeping , where reception moved me to a different room which was expected but helpful. Secondly about 5 minutes walk away from the hostel at around 6pm. These factors definitely leave my view a little tinted but that May of just been my personal experience.
SSaintjeanIt was clean and nice. Check-in was originally at 2 o'clock, but they did it at 11 o'clock. It was great..🫶🏻 The hotel was clean and it included breakfast, which was nice!!! The location was also good~~~
PPeetsWell, it certainly is small, as the name suggests. It's maybe 400m from Holesovice station, with easy access to the train network and the metro and trams. Breakfast was included with my room, and was reasonably good. There's a thoughtful shelf for cellphones next to the bed, but no spare floor space for other furniture besides the bed.
