This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The hardware of the hotel is also good. In the ancient castle, the breakfast room is on the 4th floor, overlooking the beautiful scenery of Prague. The hotel also provides tickets for the ancient castle, afternoon tea (unfortunately there is no chance to taste it) with snacks, opening beds, and toiletries are my favorite London brands. The service is really attentive. The son's flight at 6 o'clock in the morning, the hotel prepared sandwiches, fruit, yogurt at 3 o'clock, and the housekeeper drove the car from the parking lot to the vicinity of the hotel. When we returned, the butler drove back to the parking lot. We checked out and left our luggage at the front desk, went shopping nearby, and when we returned, the luggage was already in the car. Highly recommended, plan to stay again on the next wedding anniversary with my husband!

We like hotels that are small, quiet, away from busy areas and in unique buildings and this one excels in all of these. Prague is now a very busy tourist destination, and this hotel is in Mala Strana, which is a quiet neighbourhood across the river from Old Town, yet within easy walking distance even for senior folk like us. The streets and pavements in central Prague are all cobbled so sensible footwear is a must. The hotel is a 5 minute stroll from a main square for trams in one direction, and the same distance from an underground station in the other direction. Public transport is easy to understand and use and the ticket machines change from Czech to English, French or German at the touch of a button. We stayed in a grand deluxe room to give us a bit more space as we were staying for a week. It was extremely comfortable, spotless, large enough that our suitcases were out of the way, and we appreciated the coffee maker. Housekeeping paid a second visit to the room when we were out for the evening, restoring order after the evening shower so the room was immaculate once more, and leaving a tiny sliver of cake (rather than a chocolate) beside the turned down bed. A very nice touch. The breakfast provided was lovely, and all the cooked-to-order dishes were delicious. The staff were outstanding; every member we encountered was smiling, cheerful and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I cannot remember ever staying in a nicer hotel than The Golden Well.

A perfect hotel in an ideal location with amazing views. I loved everything about it. Staff are charming, rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, food is fabulous and the historic building is beautiful. What makes the hotel so special are the extra thoughtful touches like a welcome treat on arrival, fresh fruit in the room every day, the little homemade cake by your bed at night, personal IPad, complimentary drinks and snacks in the lounge. This hotel really understands how to look after guests which is why it richly deserves such high ratings.

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig in einer Sackgasse, direkt unter der Burg. Romantischer Innenhof und eine kleine Terrasse zum Chillen mit Blick auf die darunter liegenden Barockgärten. Die Einrichtung ist klassisch hochwertig. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön. Vom Ankommen bis zum auschecken hat alles gepasst. Zu den Zimmern gibt es einen Aufzug, zum Restaurant mit traumhafter Terrasse und Ausblick auf Prag muss man noch einige Stufen rauf. Deshalb sollte man nicht gehbehindert sein. Das Restaurant bietet ausgezeichnete Speisen. Sogar für mich als Vegetarierin gab es eine eigene Karte. Mein Mann Fleischesser war vom Menue begeistert. Beim Frühstück kleines Buffett und dazu gibt es zusätzlich eine Karte zum auswählen, was alles frisch zubereitet wird. Das Personal freundlich, hilfsbereit, souverän. Für uns perfekt.
