Prague Hotel is the worst worst worst hotel. There is no elevator. It is called a hotel but it is actually an apartment. The environment is very bad. The room smells bad. No extra bed or quilt was given to the triple room for two days. The service attitude is terrible. It is difficult to go upstairs after buying something, not to mention the suitcase. I didn't change the room even if I wanted to. Ctrip is also powerless. No complaint can be solved by the supervisor. I advise you not to go to this hotel in the future. It is a nightmare hotel. It is a nightmare hotel. Nothing else.

I had an amazing stay here. The location is perfect, right in the center of the city, with everything within walking distance. The staff were so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was clean and had a lovely view. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety to choose from. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Prague!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel on the Old Square. We arrived on an early flight and they were more than happy to store our luggage while we went to have a look around. Our room was in a building a couple of doors away and the porter happily took our case there for us and carried it up the stairs there. It was a lovely room which overlooked the Astronomical Clock and it was decorated with traditional furniture. It had an entrance hall, separate toilet and large bathroom and an enormous bedroom. Our booking included breakfast which was served in Café Mozart in the main hotel building and included a large selection of cooked and cold sweet and savoury food. It was an ideal location for sightseeing throughout the city, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the room was quiet and comfortable. We would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely choose to stay here again if we return to Prague.

Ideal location. We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, and given an upgrade upon check-in to a spacious room with a beautiful full view of the Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock! In addition to its wonderful location on the Old Town Square, the Grand Hotel Praha is located within very easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Prague, including Wenceslas Square, Havelske Market, the Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and much more. We were able to walk from the train station too. The room – comfortable. The service – excellent. The breakfast – very good. The stay – wonderful.

This is a beautiful hotel with great staff. But be warned: if your room is in the second building, there is no lift. I had a big case and, unbeknown to me, was given a 3rd storey attic room. Not the room I booked (they do warn people that an attic room has no lift access). I wasn’t offered assistance. 97 steps is what it took to get to my room - mostly up, some down. When I got to my door and breathed a sigh of relief I opened the door to be confronted by a flight of stairs inside the room up to the attic. Luckily I have a sense of humour. That aside, the room was beautifully appointed. So comfortable. And spacious. Bathroom was elegant. I had an evening meal and breakfast in the hotel’s Cafe Mozart. Delicious. Perfectly situated, too. A special thanks to the staff. There was a security issue with my credit card payment which wasn’t apparent until I was hours away in Graz. We eventually sorted it, although I did feel like I may have appeared to be a scam-artist until it was sorted. Thank you, Václav Eliáš for trusting me! This place is highly recommended.

Great location- amazing breakfast
The hotel had a great loction, we could see the historical cloick from our room. There was no elevator, but the room standard was good. The breakfast hall, in the cafe Mozart, was amazing! The room had a cozy ambiance with big soft chairs, chandaliers and a view directly don to the old town square. We would return on our next trip to Prague!

The property was in a great walkable location in the Old Town. Lots of dining options and shops close by. However, due to this there was constant noise and people awake at all hours of the night slamming doors and partying. So a good nights sleep was difficult. The walls were pretty thin so you could hear your neighbours. The reception desk was unaware of any sort of upgrades or perks for VIP status. No iron or coffee in the room. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of hot and cold items as well as desserts. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was in the centre of the wall, no curtain and a panel of glass at the far end. If you aren’t careful you’d easily spray water everywhere. Good hotel overall though
