Tucked just beneath Prague Castle on the charming Nerudova Street, Design Hotel Neruda proved to be the perfect base for our five-night escape. The location is nothing short of magical—cobblestones, pastel facades, and that unmistakable hum of a city steeped in history.
From the moment we stepped inside, we were struck by how peaceful it felt. The hotel carries a quiet confidence; it doesn’t try too hard, and yet it delivers where it matters. The rooms are stylish and functional, with thoughtful design touches and comfortable beds—ideal after hours of walking Prague’s winding streets.
A surprising highlight? The café attached to the hotel. We popped in for lunch and the sandwiches were, honestly, delicious. Fresh, flavourful, and exactly what you need for a quick refuel without compromising on quality. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a bit longer, even when there’s more of the city to explore.
Staff were polite and efficient throughout our stay, and while we didn’t need much in the way of service, everything we experienced was smooth and friendly. The hotel feels intimate, but not intrusive—just the way we like it.
Would we return? Absolutely. There’s something lovely about being close enough to the bustle of the city but having your own quiet corner to retreat to. Design Hotel Neruda gave us just that—a peaceful base, wrapped in charm, right in the heart of Prague.
