What a Unique Place to stay. It’s actually the old courthouse of town and they kept all the old furniture and other stuff that you just don’t see every day. At the same time the place has great wifi, A/C, rain shower, Apple TV… The bed was super comfortable and the included breakfast was legit. It’s about a 10 minute ride from the ferry to comox, and all the other restaurants, wal mart etc. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

The Old Courthouse and the whole Townsite area are somewhat frozen in time and you definitely get that feeling staying here. If you like that vibe, you'll love the place. If not, maybe not. The room was comfortable and the WifI worked great, which was a big plus, since we had stayed in some remote places that had bad Wifi. We missed the breakfast, but heard it's great.

Third time staying at The Old Courthouse! It’s a very eclectic, interesting hotel. It’s very clean, comfortable and well kept! If in Powell River again, I would definitely stay here!

The place is interesting historical property furnished and decorated with antiques. The included breakfast in the restaurant was great. We suggest avoiding the breakfast that is offered on days when the restaurant is closed.
We would stay at this property again.
