Das Grand Hotel hat die besten Zeiten wohl hinter sich. Wir bekamen eines der beiden Zimmer direkt über dem Eingang. Die Eingangstüre quietschte so laut, dass wir sie im zimmer hören konnten. Der Parkplatz ist öffentlich und für Hotelgäste vergünstigt, durch Voucher, die man im Hotel erhält. Leider wurden wir von einer Angestellten falsch informiert. Was dazu führte, dass wir viel zuviel bezahlten. Leider fühlte sich niemand in der Lage, die Verantwortung zu übernehmen und eine Lösung zu finden. Die gesamte Atmosphäre war sehr kühl. Einzig das Personal im Frühstücksraum und der nette Herr vom Housekeeping waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und bemüht, sich als Gast willkommen zu fühlen. Das Hotel war sauber jedoch an manchen Stellen sehr abgenutzt. Großer Pluspunkt ist die Lage. Direkt an der Strandpromenade, im Sommer mit einem schönen Karussell direkt auf dem Platz vor dem Hotel. Spielplatz, Meer, Strand und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe!

The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was superb and overall it was a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is central to the town with beaches just across the road and everything within a short walking distance

Hotel de 4 estrellas, prácticamente nuevo, situado en una zona peatonal a 50 metros de la playa. Zona tranquila, rodeada de muchas tiendas, farmacia, restaurantes, heladerías etc. Personal amable y atentos. Desayuno bufét completo y variado. Comidas y cenas; recomiendo salir por Povoa de Varcim. Gran oferta gastronómica, variada y buenos precios. No disponible parking propio, pero a 50 metros. Hay un parking subterráneo, en el cual tienen un concierto con el ****** y el estacionamiento de 24h. / 12€. En la calle pocas plazas libres y zona azul de lunes a Domingo.(9:00 h.á 19:00h).

Booked directly with hotel thought the website, SUPPOSEDLY A DELUXE SEAVIEW, Upon check in were given a standard room with a ridiculously small bathroom...feel cheated after paying over 360€ for 2 nights, hotel made NO effort whatsoever to offer any changes..WILL NOT RETURN OR RECOMMEND

We stay during our walk along camino potoguese tò Santiago. It was a raining step but, we are welcome in this amazing location, room cleaned and very spacious, good service, kindly staff, incredibile breakfast . We lived a very nice night here.

Negativa, todos os quartos ( porque não foi possível mudar de quarto!) têm o aquecimento desligado ( 10 graus de temperatura exterior!) Tenho a fatura e o que escrevi no livro de reclamações do hotel como prova!

Estuvímos el fin de semana,y hemos quedado encantados. Magnífica habitación con terraza vista al mar. Magnífica situación en una preciosa plaza en el centro de Povoa. Todo muy límpio. El desayuno buffet muy completo,en un bonito comedor con vistas a la playa. Y muy agradecidos por el detalle con el que nos sorprendieron. Volveremos sin duda.
