Monte da Estrela is truly a slice of paradise on earth. Its isolated location makes you feel wonderfully far away from the rest of the world — in the best possible way. The silence, the expansive landscapes, and the breathtaking night sky create a magical, almost surreal atmosphere. The restaurant is a highlight: the food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the setting is both intimate and unique. Walking around the estate with the friendly resident dogs adds a special charm to the experience. There are also several scenic hiking routes of over 5km that aren’t listed anywhere but are well worth exploring. Above all, the staff stand out — incredibly warm, welcoming, and service-minded, they make you feel completely at home. A perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace, nature, and genuine hospitality.

Wonderful place, beautiful hotel, nice people.. and the food?? OMG amazing! Dont waste more time! Book it. I am coming back next year! Hope that you keepnup with the good job. Also the local products such as olive oil, wine are a must have to try and to buy as a souvenir.

Our stay at this country house was absolutely incredible. Every detail has been meticulously thought out, showcasing the owner’s impeccable taste. Beyond the beautifully designed interiors, the property offers a range of excellent facilities— a spa, swimming pool, game room, cozy fireplace, and more. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Brites, during our stay. Her warm welcome and attentiveness truly enhanced the experience. Brites is not only a gracious host, but her genuine care and empathy made us feel instantly at home. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this tranquil retreat for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a few days of relaxation.

A simply amazing place, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the day to day city life. Ideal for couples or families with small children. Amazing leisure areas, from the pool to country walks to games or reading area. The staff are super friendly and always helpful and attentive. Definetly a place to return to.

What an amazing place, with even more amazing staff running it! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and super clean. The grounds were well maintained, with incredible views of the surrounding landscape. The food was delicious. All around I'd highly recommend staying here.

Superou as expetativas! Lugar muito tranquilo e muito bem cuidado, perfeito para descansar e contemplar a natureza. Permite ainda uma excelente observação do céu noturno. Proprietários e colaboradores muito simpáticos e atenciosos, sempre disponíveis para tornar a estadia dos hóspedes o mais agradável possível. Merece destaque a amabilidade do Junior, desde a receção até ao momento da partida. Tudo é perfeito no Monte da Estrela!

Que lugar maravilhooosoo !!! O sítio, de uma tranquilidade e paz incomparáveis, ali só se ouvem os sons da natureza que nos transmitem só por si uma energia tão mas tão positiva, o alojamento, que encantador, ali não falta nada, é o local ideal para nos afastarmos do stress do dia a dia e recarregar baterias, desde o conforto à decoração, os detalhes, muito bom gosto, o pequeno almoço, delicioso, repleto de coisinhas maravilhosas e ainda, as pessoas, que gente boa, fomos tão bem recebidos, sentimo-nos verdadeiramente "em casa" perante tamanha simpatia e à vontade, todos muito simpáticos, mas de realçar a generosidade do Junior, que pessoa encantadora, recomendo vivamente a experiência pois só assim conseguirão compreender o nosso testemunho que não fazem justiça ao Monte da Estrela.
