The Coach House

A very comfortable stay It was a very comfortable stay for us. Good Service and very clean. The breakfast was good perhaps could have been a bit hotter.

Highly recommend Stayed here for 5 nights, service, food and rooms were all very good. Would recommend and come back again!

Give the usual chain hotels a miss and stay here. Went to the Duxford airshow and required two nights accommodation, The Coach House, Potton was far better priced than any of the chain hotels near Duxford. As it turns out the price was not the only plus, The Coach House is a lovely old character property, however it is well kept,clean and decorated up to date. The staff were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was a good size, very clean and so much better than any of the chain hotels. The Coach House was buzzing and is obviously very popular with the locals and visitors alike, plus it's situated in the lovely little town of Potton which was only 15 minutes from the A1 but felt further away given it's semi rural location.

A lively pub-restaurant with good rooms and staff. We stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We were checked in quickly and cheerfully even though the pub was very busy. Our room was spacious and attractive with a lovely bathroom with bath and shower. The room and the public areas were very clean and well-maintained. We ate dinner in the pub/restaurant with our family who live nearby. Food and service were excellent. We had been told that there would be a cold breakfast box delivereD to our room on Christmas morning as the pub was closed all day. This was okay for us. On Boxing Day morning the kitchen was open and we had a choice of dishes cooked to order. Very nice. Checkout was quick and cheerful again. Minor criticism of the room was no chairs to sit on which made our Christmas Day breakfast a bit uncomfortable. Also, the bathroom mirror was very high up the wall so I couldn’t see in it, and the one in the bedroom was not very well lit, otherwise very comfortable. We would return.
