Cedar Crest Lodge

We went there for a girl's weekend and had a blast! We so enjoyed the breathtaking view, the pool, the sauna and the DELICIOUS food. We have been raving about it and plan to go back next year! It was a restful retreat and I highly recommend it. Would be phenomenal for an anniversary getaway too!

To say that it was amazing, is an understatement! Not only are the owners so personal (calling you by name every time they saw you), but the entire staff was always smiling and asking if we needed anything. The food was simply delicious, and both breakfast and dinner were included in the cost! I was impressed with the attention to detail in the food, the well-maintained grounds, the details in the well-appointed rooms, I could go on and on. We spent three nights at the lodge to celebrate my wife's birthday, and she said it was the best birthday ever! We hiked on the trails, we laid by the pool, we did a couples massage which was incredible! Our room was Big Sky, and it was so comfortable and spacious. We had a small living room, and a huge bathroom with heated floors. All I can say is WE WILL BE BACK! It is not what you would expect to find in Pleasanton KS, and I toyed with not writing a review, as I don't want it to get crowded - but these owners have earned accolades, and more people need to find this hidden gem!

We were blown away by our experience at Cedar Crest Lodge! The grounds are so peaceful, perfect for a weekend getaway. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My husband is pescatarian and I’m gluten free and they very thoughtfully accommodated both of us at each meal. We can’t wait to come back!

Cedar Crest Lodge was the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. The accommodations are just as described, all staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, and the food was absolutely delicious! We loved walking the trails out to the various ponds and fishing. The perfect peaceful, serene setting that makes you feel like you’re “not in Kansas anymore”!!

This was my 3rd year hosting an all womens retreat at Cedar Crest Lodge and it was the BEST ONE YET! Matt, Laura, and Crew always go ABOVE & BEYOND to accommodate special requests, dietary needs, and checking in to ask for feedback. My guests feel welcomed and all the details are handled so I can focus on my guests and hosting without overwhelm. Our group is already booked for next year and we cant wait to go back! This place is amazing! We came to celebrate our anniversary and they far exceeded expectations! The accommodations were very clean and well kept with a relaxing atmosphere. A pool, hot tub & sauna and a spa where we received an excellent couples massage. The very best thing about this place was the food! So delicious, and can’t say enough about how incredible it was! They were also very knowledgeable and helpful in accommodating gluten free for my celiac with lots of GF options. The owners and staff were excellent too, friendly and working hard to make our stay a memorable one! We will be going back!
