I saw the default fluffy pillow comment here, so started with the pillows. They were great, and the Centennial Suite was an incredible room. Great smaller design for on bed with a sitting area, good small shower and bath, with great furnishings. The Hotel was furnished to period close to Circa 1910-1920 when the town was established by CW Post. A great step through time. Good breakfast area and court yard, couldn’t ask for more. Courteous owner running the front desk who could have provided anything else that was needed for our stay. Great web app for reservations. Definitely a steal for the price. Close enough to Texas Tech and midway to Ruidoso.

Such a neat place! My husband and I were traveling through the area and decided to see if there was a room available for the night. So glad to have discovered this little gem in West Texas! We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely stay there again if traveling that way. Highly recommend!

So much better than a chain hotel
I arrived late in the evening after making a last minute reservation. The hotel owners were on vacation so aan named Aaron was minding the hotel. Aaron was delightfully friendly and helpful.
The hotel itself is quite charming and beautifully decorated.
I'd definitely stay here again.
