A lovely boutique hotel with a great host who was extremely helpful both before and during our brief stay. Great tips and advice we’re shared about how to get into the centre and get back again.
The hotel is very modern with a lift to make getting to your floor easier (really helpful after a climb up from the town). The amenities in the room were great and I loved the fact that there was a historical fresco on the walls, beautifully preserved.
Breakfast on the balcony was amazing. Wonderful views, perfect shade and a delicious and fresh selection of foods to enjoy, supplemented by great coffee.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
The room is large, duplex, with two balconies. The proprietress was very nice and drew a map for me. The scenery is very good! It is difficult to get to the hotel and take some stairs, but you can contact the hotel to help you get it.
Casa Sole, is part of the colored cluster of houses set into the hillside above the sea, which appears in all the photos of Positano. When you step onto the beautiful terraces, you will find yourself with a ´front-row seat´ from which to view the panoramic view of the sea and Positano. It is a characteristic and welcoming independent, newly refurbished, one bedroom, air conditioned apartment. It has a porch and a terrace with spectacular views.Located on the second floor of an ancient building, it is reached from the main road (Via G. Marconi) by climbing 54 steps. Entrance is directly into a spacious and bright dining / living room with double sofa bed and doors onto the private furnished porch with enchanting views of Positano and the sea. Positano´s tightly packed Moorish style houses start their dramatically steep climb from the blue bay, then ascend ever more sharply, below and opposite you. Above you are rugged cliffs and hillsides with clinging patches of green - a striking view never to be forgotten. At night, an alfresco dinner aloft, with hundreds of shimmering lights as your audience. Positano isn´t quite real when you are there .. said John Steinbeck. A maze of narrow streets and steep staircases lead to terraces festooned with flowers and lanes flanked with bars and small shops. The small kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, electric oven, small fridge. Elegant double bedroom has en-suite shower room and doors onto a balcony with sea views. Separate shower room, a sea view furnished terrace with barbecue, washing machine. You will not need a car while staying at Casa Sole, the Flavio Gioia bus stop - Interno Positano line is a few meters away as well as the main Bus stop from where buses connect to all the Amalfi Coast villages as well as Sorrento. If you do decide to hire a car, you will be able to park it along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces and time of year) or in a private parking lot downtown where a space can be reserved. The most advanced sea view room is given to the side, and is the second floor, although it is not the best view, but it is enough. If you have a good chance of checking-in at night, you will meet a funny old grandfather, very friendly, and have no service. In addition, if you have breakfast, there will be a chef uncle, very gentleman service. Breakfast is plentiful. The room was very clean but slightly simple, no kettle and coffee tea, no slippers, but who cares. The parking fee is 25 Euros a day, and there will be drivers to help you get the car back. It is very convenient.
The best hotel in Italy, 37+ prices, although the most expensive on this road, are tens of thousands more than other Positano, this is absolutely cost-effective.
Be sure to set a sea view room, the sea view room is in a great location, and you can open the window and feel relaxed.
The sanitation is very clean, the facilities are complete, the new hotel, the elevator is touch screen.
The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was delivered to the room one day in advance. Looking at the sea view from the balcony, eating breakfast, it is definitely enjoyable.
It is recommended to book the BRUNO restaurant to watch the sunset. This restaurant hotel is swaying along the road for 1 km. The key location and the hotel are facing each other. Two places can take all the scenery of Positano.
Tips, if you bring luggage, don't be reluctant to 10 euros a box, the hotel will prompt the pier in advance to have POTER (similar to porters, send luggage to the hotel), carry luggage up the mountain, most likely to be scrapped. The hotel is halfway up the mountain, don't look at the straight distance from the pier! ! !
The hotel room has a stunning view and the balcony is large enough. We enjoyed so much when sitting in the balcony. However it’s really expensive and you pay for the view. Also there were a lot of choices in breakfast and the environment is super nice. Since we stayed in the hotel early April and it was quiet and so we could enjoy so much in peaceful environment.
Trip.com No one gave any photo evaluation of this treasure-level hotel, it was a surprise! Big recommendation, big recommendation, great room, great breakfast! Although there are many steps, the hotel staff is very good and can help with luggage. Breakfast is one of the few unsalted and especially exquisite! Check-in will give a small mobile phone, you can contact the staff with what's up.
