The indoor pool, hot tub, fitness room, and HDTV were well-maintained. Guests praised the breakfast and friendly staff. Clean, comfy rooms with comfortable beds contributed to a pleasant stay.

Let me begin with my booking on July 17, 2025. I specifically booked an accessible room with a walk-in shower, that somehow wasn't entered into the hotel's database.. As a result, I was unable to check in on the Hilton app. I thought nothing of it, until I arrived on August 29, and was informed that all accessible rooms were full. I ended up with a standard room. It was clean, but sorely lacking the things I needed, such as grab bars and a shower attachment that I needed to wash and rinse my whole body. I ended up filling a paper cup with shower water just to rinse my feet. At least they provided a shower chair, and there were no injuries. I also didn't get the ergonomic chair and work desk. Aside from this catastrophe, everything was great. Housekeeping did a good job, and the breakfast and cookies were delicious. I just hope that if I book this Hampton again, they won't make the same mistake twice.

I never would have imagined I would be penning a horror story for a hotel review. Still, my month-long stay at the Hampton Inn Central in Portsmouth, NH, left me flummoxed and battling an antibiotic-resistant infection that required a trip to the ER for IV antibiotics treatment. Yet, what terrified me most was the abject lack of care and concern expressed by the management, hotel operator and the Hilton corporation when I shared my experience and was bombarded with excuses that water quality was not the hotel operator's responsibility, then, as I was checking out, I was shown a days old community water alert the concierge printed as I checked out as an affirmative defense of the hotels unconscionable behavior! I want to warn those who would consider staying at this or any other property that is owned or operated by Giri Hotel Management that your welfare, health, and safety mean little to this organization..
