Room was standard Fairfield Inn room, but the room seemed to be in very good shape and recent renovated. The room has one flaw which is electrical outlets. There were not enough outlets near the bed and one of those precious outlets had a plug in carbon monoxide detector ( seemed weird for a hotel ). There was one small blemish, the cabinet that held the fridge in our room had the wrap ripped off. It didn't look great, but didn't affect anything. The desk/room chair were good. TV was fine. Housekeeping ( Make sure that the bottles in the shower are filled!!!!!! ). This is one of the things I hate about Marriott new approach to keeping bottles in the showers. In my last six Marriott stays, the bottles have been empty twice. A 33% failure rate is way too high. It's really annoying to be taking a shower and then realize there is no conditioner. Housekeeping fail as far as I'm concerned to not notice this. This is something that supervisors need to be checking. I understand the rationale behind the new policies/processes, but if customers are going to be left in showers without products, the policy/approach needs to be rethought. Front desk: Shout out to Marisa who was on the front desk. She was very efficient with checkin. She found some conditioner bottles after we found out there was non in our shower. She also helped me with a lost key. She was helpful, and did what she could to make me the customer satisfied. She was pleasant and did her job well. The room's internet was horrible ( and I was using the "Enhanced" internet ) as a lifetime platinum member. It was not capable of streaming and our show was constantly pausing to buffer. Welcome bag for platinum members was nice touch, especially the full-size bottle of water. Overall, would I return, yes, but are there annoying items that need to be resolved, yes.
