I am writing to address an issue with a recent reservation cancellation and subsequent refund request. Due to the cancellation of the Great South Run, I had to cancel my stay scheduled for October 19th. On that day, I called the Premier Inn customer support line at approximately 12:30 pm to request the cancellation. The agent I spoke with assured me that the reservation would be canceled and that I would receive a confirmation email shortly after. However, I never received any such email. It has now been ten working days, and I still have not received my refund. Today, I attempted to follow up by calling the support line, hoping to resolve this matter promptly. Unfortunately, I was met with an unhelpful response, confusing explanations about department availability, and ultimately, the call was disconnected by the agent. This experience has been disappointing, and I am concerned by the lack of support and communication. I can not, recommend Premier Inn.
