Perfect stay for the ferry but a lovely town and worth more than one night
Really friendly staff who are genuinely pet friendly
There was entertainment on when I stayed but due to an early ferry I’d missed it but the band members were nice too
I’ll stay again and recommend
Only had a pudding which was nice and the main dishes looked better than what I’d had elsewhere
Over heard an awkward customer and the kitchen even catered for her

Staff were friendly enough until we had a problem in the room. Tv not working and the manager asks” are you going to be annoyed if this doesn’t work” not quite what we expected to hear on our first visit ended up having to fix it ourselves

First time staying here but will defo be bak. It was a lovely night away. We had room 8 which had the most amazing sea view and comfy seats to sit and look out. Couldve sat and looked out all day. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was good and all the staff we met were lovely. Will be bak for a visit soon

Beautiful clean room for four, with window seats to enjoy the views across the harbour. Enjoyed the complimentary refreshments and the hot powerful shower. We had breakfast both days as it was such a bargain - delicious full Scottish breakfast with choice of cereals, croissants, fruit and yoghurts too, plus juice, tea and coffee. Friendly and welcoming staff, would definitely stay here again.

We have had dinner in this restaurant in the past and the food was lovely. Last evening we were seated on a very sticky table in the bar rather than in the pretty restaurant overlooking the harbour despite there only being one occupied table in the restaurant. The food was nowhere near as good as on previous occasions. The starter for my partner had obviously been microwaved. The chips had probably been made at lunchtime and heated up a little but were soft and floppy! Yuk! It might have just been a bad day but we won’t be going back again any time soon!
