The property was at the top of town which made things very quiet. The room was nice and very clean. The staff was amazing and helpful. Easy downhill walk to the Camino.

I have been on the Camino for 30 days. Was served an undrinkable glass of red wine for double the normal price. Spoke to the man in charge who clearly couldn’t have cared less. Probably speaks to why there is absolutely no one in the restaurant.

It's a great place to stay at while walking El Camino. Don't miss their restaurant, they have excellent food and service.

A really nice old-style hotel with charming staff. Lovely food in the restaurant. Great place to stay for any Camino traveller. I didn't want to leave the next morning. Also, I can only compliment the receptionist who helped me out when my room-key stopped working. She was so attentive and nothing was a problem.

Spent one night on a camino trip. Very dated hotel very 1970s. Room was clean but bathroom had tiles missing and looked jaded. Beds were comfortable. Went to dining room as we were having a set meal prepared. We arrived at dining room and told to wait till 7. Which we did. We had made a reservation at desk but they couldn't find it. They never asked our name so we were seated. Head manager was attentive and gave us our menu. We asked which menu was for us they gave us main menu. We ordered and had delicious meal. When we finished we told them our room number. It turned out hotel gave us different room than was scheduled. We should not have had main menu. The manager went bananas with the staff. We offered to pay but it was his mistake. I felt sorry for junior waiter. If manager had asked our names in first place he would have realised his mistake. It was an embarrassing for us all.

The hotel was fine - really decent sized rooms but overall it was a little tired, the bathroom could definitely do with a refurb. The food in the restaurant though was excellent. After a long day walking, the pilgrim's menu was excellent and the staff there were really helpful and friendly!

This was a well-located, quaint hotel with very nicely furnished rooms and good food. I had a restful experience here and they were very helpful at both the reception and the restaurant in catering to small requests. Would recommend this hotel to other travellers.
