Great hotel with its own spa area and beautiful natural pools right next to the beach. There are a lot of tourists in this region. I would recommend buying water etc. before checking in.
Highly recommended for the nightly price of around €150-170. I wouldn't pay more than that though.

Very nice hotel, great welcome as well as the person in charge of the breakfast very very friendly, the breakfast complete and of very good quality.
Terrific heated swimming pool as well as the hammam, the sauna and the jacuzzi!!
Everything was perfect for an ideal stay, restaurants nearby or even that of the hotel.
And obviously beautiful room !!!

Excellent stay for the weekend, friendly staff and stunning morning sunrise. The views from the room are unique and the bed is really comfortable for two people. Breakfast had a lot of fresh items to choose from even the orange juice was 100% natural.

The location is just perfect, wake-up view as well, the staff is friendly, breakfast is great! A lot of options. There is a small parking for the guests in the courtyard, otherwise is on the street, free - gets busy during the day, but you can find spots in the morning and evening. Just a bonus - you get one ticket per person per day for the Porto Moniz natural swimming pools.

First impressions were good. We were shown our room on the side of the hotel. I was disappointed it had a bath with shower over rather than walk in shower but the staff member was able to show us another room, but its location was not so good as it was right by the door to the outside pool. We decided to stay in the first. Room was small but clean. The air con is a portable freestanding type which is very very loud! The view from the balcony is beautiful. The usb points on one side of the bed did not work and the pillows were old and lumpy. I asked if they had firmer or basically any other pillows, they said they would ask. I heard no more. Breakfast was ok, basic. Pool area on the roof was nice. Towels good. Strangely the lift by the restaurant always smelled of fish! The hotel carpark is very small, but we always managed to find a space on the street. Overall, not for us, but choice is limited in that part of Madeira.
