I have been traveling for 2 weeks across multiple cities in Europe, staying in several hostels, and so far, this one stands out as superior. First of all, the staff were amazing—very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and well-organized, and the amenities were perfect. I honestly enjoyed my time in there.

The service is very comprehensive. Free luggage storage is provided for early arrival and check-out. The young lady and brother at the reception actively and considerately help carry the luggage. The activity room and kitchen are spacious and clean, giving people a homey feel. They also provide a rich buffet breakfast. Although the room is small, it is quiet and has good privacy.

.Great centralized location; safe neighborhood! For sensitive sleepers, bring earplugs and sleep shades - simply a comment, not a complaint. Similarly, no lift for those with mobility issues. The bathrooms are co-ed for the modest. They don't accept credit cards. There's an ATM right outside the entrance. Diverse crowd of clients: singles, young adults, families, mature adults. The decor is so unique; a high class hostel that's for sure. Each room has an individual heating/air conditioning unit that is customised, at request, by the staff. I appreciated that considering how homes in the Iberian Peninsula aren't well insulated. A wonderful stay.

The room was way too small for the price. Also we booked the property due to the pool but they closed it citing winter despite it not being too cold at the beginning of october in Porto. Hostel room would probably be worth it but the individual room at this property is not good.

We had a private room with shared bathroom in the Rivoli Cinema Hostel for 3 nights. It is in walking distance to most of the sights, tours and supermarkets. The kitchen was well equiped, the shared bathrooms were clean and our room was comfortable. It is a bit noisy with the traffic, but it is to be expected on this location.The staff was fun and very helpful. The cinema theme is everywhere, in all the small details! Great home base in Porto!
