Amazing location, in the middle of everything you need to see & all the restaurants, patios, live music, etc.
The hotel & the room is tiny but that’s expected with a historical place like this.
We stayed in room#2 & it had a window facing the historical wall of this building, so don’t count on much of a view or natural light!
A little bit of uphill but again that’s Porto, you can hardly get around without uphills & downhills!
The owner Maria & the manager Martha are attentive & caring & ensure you have a great experience with your stay.
When we arrived a welcome Portuguese tart was offered which was delicious & also Martha said you can pour yourself Port wine (also super tasty) any time,

Personnel très accueillant, parlant Français! Très disponible pour les clients, Helena nous a donné pleins de tips pour arpenté les meilleurs endroits de Porto ! La chambre est petite mais largement suffisante étant donné que le logement est situé en pleins centre historique !

Now with a different name, this is a lovely guesthouse very well located for a first timer in Porto. Clean, very well decorated, cozy. You are received with a warm welcome and Sussana explains you the touristic spots . The room was just what I needed, fresh, clean and cozy. Breakfast is really good and healthy!. I'll definitely stay there when I visit again.

A lovely place to stay in Porto. So convenient for the Cathedral and the river.
Marta could not have been more helpful; booking parking in advance, offering invaluable advice on restaurants, sightseeing, transport etc. She helped us with luggage (we had a lot, as we are on the road for a month) and with laundry too. She even went to the trouble of researching our onward travel on our behalf.I cannot recommend this place more highly.

We had a very comfortable stay. The historical house is very well kept and our room was clean. It is well located near the Cathedral and within walking distance of the waterfront. Marta, the host and our staff contact there, was most helpful, patient, gracious, and welcoming. She contacted us ahead of time more than once and sent us clear directions to the house from the train station via local train. We had an unexpected medical situation arise while there and she both advised us and made several calls on our behalf. The care and attention the staff gives their guests is rare. Highly recommended!
