Front desk not as helpful as expected. Asked them to help me book dinners, never let me know if they manage to book for me. I was early due to change of flight. Requested for early check then says she will inform me so I waited. She didn’t make sure I didn’t wait too long. So I went for a walk and requested to text me when room is ready. She didn’t do that too. So service is not great

Stayed at this hotel for 7 days. Really great reception staff who were unwavering patient and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. A relatively new hotel with a few teething problems ( AC didn't work in 1st room) and a few trainee staff who were not quite up to speed did not detract from a great stay. The hotel is well located very close to Trindade metro and easily accessible to central areas and not far to walk to tourist spots including the famous Bolhao market. Breakfast was v good, with options for freshly cooked eggs various styles including Eggs Benedict. Fresh fruits pastries and some home baked goodies. Lunch / dinner menus were acceptable but we remarked on the 500% markup on the vino Verde! Maybe avoid.

Very nice Hotel in a city center .With an amazing Reception team,they helped us with a lot of questions ,they we’re so professional and friendly 😍Especially would like to say many thanks to HELENA she was so helpful. Also it was a very good variety for breakfast. And some new interesting thing which I saw first time it’s a TV on a mirror .Looks interesting .

This new hotel (opened 2024 I believe) is also a new or very well refurbished building. The aesthetic is classy, modern, understated - but soft and warm, not cold and hard as modernism is too often. Our room was lovely and super comfortable. Air-con very quiet. Shower large and powerful. Nespresso machine, hairdryer all good. Mini fridge almost silent. Staff were numerous, unobtrusive and gave outstanding service. Genuinely wonderful, kind and polite. Restaurant has a simple menu and an open kitchen. Great food.

The rooms in the hotel are very nice, the views were lovely and the staff were helpful. However this is not comparable to other 5* hotels we have stayed at. There was a bright light shining on the door control panel all night which made it hard to sleep and some strange noises above the ceiling. The gym and spa are very disappointing, the gym is very small with hardly any equipment. The spa is a small pool with a stone cold jacuzzi with no bubbles that’s it. The ambience is strange with bright lights and strange decoration and no one was working in the spa area so we had to find towels ourselves. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on this. All in all the hotel does have potential but it needs improvements.
