Quando decido di andare a cena al Il Pellicano vuol dire ho voglia di stare bene. Che atmosfera! Giusta illuminazione, discrezione, accoglienza calorosa del mitico barman Federico Morosi che mi ha fatto gustare il suo Tiziano accompagnato da tre amouse buche deliziosi… Ho scelto il menù degustazione con opzione cinque portate. Mi sono affidata dal mio “assistente” PierMarco, che mi ha suggerito e guidato in questo percorso gastronomico unico. Starters fantastici, seguiti da soffice di patate con gambero rosso di Mazara, ed a seguire calamaretti farciti … non voglio descrivervi piatto dopo piatto ..le foto parlano da sole e certamente non possono esprimere il gusto bilanciato di una cucina gourmet senza estremismo ed esagerazioni. In questo luogo l’ospite viene coccolato, seguito, intrattenuto il giusto. Equilibrio, professionalità e discrezione tutto con abbondanza di amore per la cucina ed il “cliente” e di una musica live estremamente raffinata. Che dire? Grazie.. Grazie allo Chef Stellato Michelino Gioia, al suo collega Giuseppe Cavallato, al Pastry Chef Vito Di Anna Pier Marco che mi assistito, a Susa e Fabrizio Bai per la musica.. Esperienza da ripetere!

Una splendita e incantevole location con vista mozzafiato. E' bello tutto dalla struttura, camere favolose a strapiombo sul mare, personale gentile e pronto a soddisfare ogni tua richiesta, ristorante con menù svariato e cibi di ottima qualità. E' una struttura da non dimenticare ma l'unico probema che non è alla portata di tutti ma nella vita almeno una volta sarebbe da frequentare.

La struttura gode di un panorama spettacolare. Con mia moglie abbiamo viaggiato molto ed in posti di livello ma questo probabilmente, fino ad ora, rimane il migliore. L’eccellenza si respira fin dall’accoglienza: personale gentile, sorridente, professionale, alla mano e per nulla ingessato. La cura è ovunque: nelle stanze pulitissime e curate, nei cipressi e nei cespugli di rosmarino che sembrano delle sculture. Il cibo è ottimo. Il bistro al beach club propone piatti abbondanti e golosissimi (da provare il club sandwich, ci si mangia comodamente in due). Ristorante Michelin con una buona proposta, Pelligrill che propone i classici della cucina italiana con ingredienti di primissima qualità. Mare cristallino. Da provare i cocktails: in particolare il leggendario pelican martini. Da ritornarci, ancora ed ancora. Quando si parla dell’eccellenza italiana nel modo penso a posti come questo.

Our stay was perfect! From the moment we arrived until sadly we had to leave. The staff is most welcoming and helpful ,the grounds are breathtaking ,our garden room beautiful. The food is delicious! We loved spending 2 lazy days lounging on the cliffs overlooking the most magnificent view and swimming in the sea. If you are looking for a wonderful place to recharge and get away from the noise of the world ,Il Pellicano fits the bill....we will be back!

Il Pellicano is truly a luxurious hotel on the seaside. I traveled here with my husband and two teenagers, and we all enjoyed a relaxing stay. The room was extremely comfortable and clean, with good beds, plenty of space, and all amenities provided. Breakfast was very good. The staff was excellent with communicating prior to arrival and during our stay, and was very friendly. The hotel is extremely expensive and the reason to spend to stay here is really the position of the property on the seafront with easy access to the most beautifully clear, warm water. We spent most of our stay in the ocean, happily bobbing around on a noodle or raft. Lunch was ok - not as good as I'd expect. A few criticisms/suggestions: purchase a few more rafts - four is not enough; control the beach chairs better by posting a staff member at the base of the steps to greet guests. Other guests took our chairs while we were in the water, and instead of staff removing them, they set up new chairs next to our old ones. This was fine - but caused some stress for us and was avoidable. Finally, we appreciated the use of a shower by the pool area after our checkout, but there was no shampoo or conditioner provided in the shower. Otherwise, except for cost, there is no reason not to stay here!

The dining experience was a disaster for a 5 stars hotel, the food was horrible in general and the waitstaff wasn't properly trained to serve at a 5 stars hotel restaurant. My big disappointment was the food they could of done a lot better. Magnificent views but below average dining experience.

We have spent our second stay at il Pellicano, four gorgeous days in July 2024. We were three friends and had the Garden Junior Suite F5. It has a big bathroom with two sinks, bathtub and walk-in shower in the typical Pellicano style. The suite has a nice walk-in closet, a living room opened to the bedroom. Outside it has a big terrace with sunbeds. What we love of the Il Pellicano is its style. The rosemary bushes are trimmed like clouds. The entire resort, the restaurants, pool, beach, Guests (and even the wasps) seem to be more stylish than in other hotels. You can somehow still feel the old golden times. The staff is extremely friendly and committed in making each guest feel comfortable. We especially loved the lobby, the bar and the piano, live music filling the rooms and the air makes a special atmosphere. And, when you’re at the pool and hear the open bar speakers playing Mia Martini “Almeno tu nell’Universo”, then you know, this hotel has style. We also appreciate the children policy. I think minimum age starts at 10. Please dear Management of the Pellicano, don’t lower again the minimum age (sorry families, but without small children it’s indeed more pleasant). Grazie e a presto

A 5-star oasis, for sure. Beautiful environs — our second visit in as many years! The pool, the beach club! The only complaints: the bugs (pro-tip: bring repellant for the mosquito and beware of the wasps at meal times) and a relatively limited culinary offering.
