The overall style of the hotel is hard to describe. The main color is a more vivid blue than Tiffany blue. Other aspects are normal, standard, and not shocking. The location is good.

This hotel was top notch from the time I booked the reservation. Cruz on the Concierge team was so helpful with booking tours to best experience Portland, the valet guys were always helpful with coffee recommendations as well as all of our car needs. The front desk was always cheerful and efficient, the restaurant has the most delicious coffee and most helpful staff. The rooftop bar has a gorgeous view of the city and the room itself was clean with the most comfortable beds. I will always come back to The Nines when I am in Portland!

The Nines was a wonderful getaway in Portland! We were greeted by Janessa, who made our honeymoon so special by upgrading our experience. Our room was comfortable and clean, and we highly enjoyed our time here.

I dont usually write reviews, but the reception staff at The Nines are incredible and genuinely kind. Janessa deserves a raise!! I had an urgent issue and she coordinated with different departments to help me and solve my problem. She handled the situation with impressive confidence, warmth, and grace. I’m truly grateful and will recommend this hotel to anyone I know visiting Portland!

We decided to have a staycation for my partner's birthday and it was fantastic! Juan at the front desk was so helpful and upgraded or room and sent a slice of cake and a card as well as some sparkling water to the room to help us celebrate which was so thoughtful. We tried both of the on site restuaranrs while we were here which were both beautiful and the food was delicious. The room was very comfortable, the bed was like a cloud! The water pressure in the bathroom was great and it got hot very quickly. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. It made for a great trip and a very pampered birthday boy. Juan helped us again later when we came down and gave us a fantastic recommendation for dinner. The Nines is definitely worth checking out!

The location of the hotel in downtown Portland is great! Be sure to request a small fridge if you have food to store in the room. The fridge in the room is loaded items for purchase. The room was dusty and needed to have the furniture moved to vacuum more thoroughly. The set-up of the hotel is different than most. Check-in is on the eighth floor. There are two wonderful restaurants in the hotel - one the 8th floor and the other on the 15th floor. There are a multitude of dining options within walking distance of the hotel and the Red Line metro runs in front of the hotel which makes getting around Portland easy.

I stayed at The Nines for a three day conference. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The key card system in the elevator was a bit tricky and you need to read all of the fine print on the wet bar items in the room. It would be nice to have a larger refrigerator or less wet bar items taking up space for personal food and drink items. Super comfy bed.
