The hotel is in downtown and does not have its own parking lot, but there is public parking under the office building next to the Citroen gas station opposite, which costs about $35 a night. It is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and a corner after crossing the intersection.
The room is small, with a bed, two bedside tables, and a bathroom, which is very compact. The hand soap in the bathroom smells good.
The front desk service is good. Because I sleep lightly, I negotiated whether I could change the room facing the road, and they were happy to help.
There is a Mexican restaurant, Lechon, 10 minutes walk from the hotel, which is worth recommending. I recommend the mushroom and grilled ribs, which are also good.

i came up to portland on a solo trip and needed a place to crash for the night. i didn’t want to spend a ton of money but still wanted to stay somewhere really comfortable and cute. this ticked all those boxes. the bedding was very soft and overall so cozy. i really needed a place to rest and recharge before heading to my next destination and this place gave me that and then some.

From the moment I arrived, The Hoxton, Portland exceeded expectations. Not only were they able to accommodate an early check-in and a late check-out, but the service throughout my stay was also top-notch. The hotel itself is stunning—stylish, modern, and perfectly located in the heart of Portland. Jake at the front desk went above and beyond, assisting me with a room upgrade that made my stay even more comfortable. The beds were super cozy, which made it easy to unwind after long days exploring the city. The restaurants onsite were beautiful and vibrant, and the barista offered some of the best local recommendations I received during my trip. If you have a chance it is a must to eat and drink at all the restauraunts the Hoxton has to offer. This was my first time staying at The Hoxton, and it certainly won’t be my last. A perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and design.

This hotel was decorated beautifully and had amazing staff! The rooms are on the smaller size but perfect for a quick trip. The crime in the area was our biggest concern, the hotel does have security at night.

The front desk staff is amazing, every single one of them was out of the way friendly! Chairs in room are very low. Bed is very low. Cleaning was below expected level.

Paid $333 in advance and then was charged $23 randomly after my stay. Stayed in room 701 and had a very gross shower drain that I did not discover until the next morning and it was kind of too late and time to leave. Shower drain was rimmed with goop/ buildup, as well as all corners of shower floor. Shower was black, so the white-ish buildup was very noticeable. It was not just a little. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and gave great recommendations for breakfast nearby- we chose Cheryl's on 12th. Bar on the roof had a pretty view at sunset, but staff was kind of cold and seemed irritated or something. Hotel decor in lobby and room was very trendy and stylish. In walking distance to lost of things.
