My husband, 2 sons and I stayed at the Inn at Northrup Station recently while in Portland visiting our daughter. The location worked out very well for us and everyone enjoyed the breakfast. The first night, our bathroom door squeaked when we got up in the middle of the night to use the facilities waking others in the room. I talked to the front desk in the morning and they came in and gave it some oil which worked perfectly to silence it during the night. Very much appreciated! The beds seemed smaller than normal queen sized beds but we had no way of verifying that. Luckily there was a pull out sofa in our room so one of our sons slept on that after the first night. The bed did seem smaller than our queen at home to my husband and me as well.

The room has every amenity and more! Great pillows, clean everything, coffee, balcony, wifi. The front desk staff are so helpful--we loved getting tickets for the light rail. The stop is literally right there and took us to Powell's Bookstore as well as the tram. Parking was no problem. Ice cream was just a short walk away!

This is an incredible hotel that will become my go to destination when in Portland. The suite was large and very well equipped with full kitchen; great value for the space. The hotel was clean, safe, and quiet. The mattress was one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept on. The comforter was just the right weight for sleeping in a cool room. Love the color, art, sculptures, and whimsy throughout the hotel. The location is very convenient to nearby freeways, and near many restaurants and shops.

Pros: location, free parking, free street car rides (even though we didn’t take it, I thought it was a good perk), good neighborhood, walkable to some good restaurants/bakeries, coffee machine in the lobby. Experience justifying my review: Creaky floors, thin walls. Family with two kids staying in the room over us probably had the kids running around and stomping. After an hour of this going on, I called the front desk at ~8pm to see if they could give this family a courtesy call as our little one was ready for bedtime. Before I could finish making my request on the phone, I was cutoff by the front desk person saying the quiet time starts at 9pm and if it was a problem after 9pm, I should call again. While it’s understandable that some noise should be expected with kids, no harm in asking to be courteous if it’s too much. The response from the front desk without even willing to hear my request was disappointing and not something I expected from this hotel.

We always stay at the Inn at Northrup Station when we go to Portland--love the location, easy parking, access to the train. This last time I got a call a few hours after we checked out alerting me that I'd left my laptop charger. They shipped it right out to me! Really impressive.

I booked our company at the Inn at Northrup Station for an offsite last week and could not have been happier with the experience. Jordan, the group sales manager, was an absolute saint. He handled every detail with care and made the entire booking process easy and seamless. He was truly fantastic to work with. The property itself is in such a charming part of Portland. It is walkable (both to downtown or even washington park), full of great spots to eat and explore, and most importantly, it felt very safe even late at night. The hotel was clean, colorful, and had a fun, unique vibe. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Whether I return to Portland for work or a personal trip, this will absolutely be my go-to place to stay. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travel.

We had a great experience at the Inn at Northrup Station. The beds were comfortable. We slept well after a full day of adventures. The room was well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffee maker, and toaster. Silverware and mugs are also provided. We enjoyed the grab and go breakfast each morning and sitting out on the deck each evening. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the on site parking. We didn't have time to ride the street cars; but, it's a nice perk to be able to use your room key as your ticket to ride.
