This hotel has a lot going for it, the rooms are clean and spacious, the employees are nice and welcoming to their guests. The business center, or the room to the left of the lobby that has vending machines and coffee, is usually not cramped with other guests and has a computer for uses if needed, which I personally didn't need but can see why other people would. The room I stayed in was a standard king river side, which means it was facing the Columbia River. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, bed, all the usual things. I stayed for 2 nights before leaving for Seattle, and I can truthfully say that it is worth staying at this hotel! I will admit that there is a 50/50 chance on if your stay was just as good as mine was, but I assure you the hotel is honestly the furthest thing from a "trashy hotel that you should drive past." The staff are nice, the room was clean and ready to go on time (Unlike some other hotels I have stayed at, but I understand the staffing issues that have been happening recently), the vending machines were honestly delightful to just find in the hallways. I mean, if I'm thirsty for a soda and its 4 in the morning, I don't want to go all the way to the first floor just to go back to my room, so having something close by that can satisfy my soda needs was lovely! Overall, this hotel deserves more than what it gets. I personally believe that, if given the chance, this hotel could easily become one of the best in Jantzen Beach. I came to this hotel during the more harsh times of the pandemic, my stay then was good, and the entirely of it was because of the GM there, Michelle. She's outstanding at what she does, very social and a generally nice person to be around!
