Love, love, love this hotel! The people are lovely, and the rooms are spacious (high ceilings) and nicely decorated. Super comfy beds as well. We got the parking package, which was worth it. Parking ain't cheap in Portland, so it was great to have a location to just leave the car and basically walk wherever we wanted. I loved that we were a couple of blocks away from the main hussle and bustle of the tourism, but close enough to walk to it. They do charge a $25 amenity fee, but you can use it for food and their little market. Be aware that the $25 daily allotment doesn't roll over, so it's worth using it every day. On the last day, we just grabbed some snacks for the road, so it was perfect. The only thing that would make this place perfect would be a pool, but you can't have everything!

We had a great trip to Portland for a long weekend. The Cambria Portland was a lovely hotel in a perfect location - close enough to walk anywhere we wanted to go but just far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of the main drag. The staff was very pleasant. Kudos to Oliver and Quinn who were particularly friendly and helpful. The only downside was low water pressure in the shower, but we find that an issue at most hotels. We would stay there again!

Perfect quiet location yet close to everything. The port and shops/restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk. The coastline walking path is a block away and goes on for miles. Rooms are newer (hotel opened in 2023), spacious, and very clean. Bar on 4th floor has a rooftop outdoor lounge and table area. Restaurant food was very good—some of the best I’ve had at hotel restaurants. Overall, great location and amenities.

The front desk staff was very nice. they said I get an upgrade because of the view of their gardens, but it was a hearing impaired room. The room was very nice. The hotel was very clean. My main complaint was with the housekeeping. She started knocking at the door at 9:30 and she knocked three times between 930 and 12 o’clock. I was there too to just take a rest . I don’t understand why they had to keep knocking at the door when you don’t have to check out till 12. There should be a system in place that tells them when people have checked out and they can clean their room.

This was our first time in Portland Maine and we had a great time. The hotel was very clean and very nice. All the staff were very helpful and very nice .
