Hyatt Place has always had free breakfast but not this location. $14 for hotel breakfast that is free at all other locations. I mainly booked for this feature only to find out in the morning that I would have to pay. Thankfully the hotel is in a great location so there are better cheaper options than the dehydrated eggs and dry bagels.

The Hyatt in Portland was very, accommodating very nice, clean rooms and super friendly staff! Breakfast was good and we were relaxed in the lounge area in the evening after our day out & about.Great location! We walked to the waterfront and were there in less than five minutes. So many great shops close by as well.

Hyatt place old port is in an excellent location for walking around the city. If arriving on the weekend, parking on the street on Sundays is free, other wise parking is $40, valet only. The front desk told me that Hyatt took away the free breakfast if you are not a high enough Hyatt member, but they comped me the continental breakfast which doesn't offer much. The eggs were in a meager pancake shape, and there was sausage and potatoes, and make your own waffless. Yougurt and fruit were available which was a plus. Front desk check in was easy and pleasurable. Room was clean.

Perfect stay here. Hotel is right in the middle of everything. Rooms are huge and super clean. If you're driving, plan on using valet. Parking is sparse and expensive there and valet is actually a decent value comparatively. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Joey at Front Desk was amazing in fixing the double reservation I booked. The room was spacious with a great view. The location is walking distance to everything too

This property is in the heart of Old Portland just a block from Commercial St. which is the main drag on the water. Some of the rooms have balconies with fantastic water / port views. The customer service is excellent and the hotel is in the middle of many great restaurants, entertainment & activities.

My husband and I were so happy with our stay at Hyatt Place Old Port. The service was fantastic, the room was clean, the view was beautiful, and the location was central to everything. When we checked in, Feven was welcoming and very efficient. Joey at the front desk went above and beyond providing us with exemplary customer service and support. We had some extremely important documents that needed to be scanned and emailed and he made it happen. Everything about our stay was perfect. And we LOVED Portland!

Location was great, but the hotel was just average. The price seemed high for what appeared to be an understaffed hotel. I probably would look at staying elsewhere next time.

We truly enjoyed our stay here during our Portland visit. The staff was so helpful and friendly, gave us some great recommendations for dining. Our room was clean, modern,and very comfortable, the hotel location is ideal for exploring the city on foot.
