The hotel experience was 10 out of 10! I arrived well after midnight, and the person at the front desk was more than helpful! The bar/ restaurant was fantastic during my stay. Everyone was very friendly and accomidating.

This is indeed a boutique hotel and overall we enjoyed our experience. However, the rooms are small considering the price of the hotel. It was tight quarters with very limited space for our suitcases, no real place to unpack, and one small armchair for sitting. I did have a delicious glass of sparkling pear cider in the hotel bar, and that is a pleasant memory.

Stay was nothing short of delightful. The room is incredibly quiet and has a lot of different features that made it feel like a home away from home, while still having the luxury hotel experience. Additionally, the staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond what I usually experience, even when in comparable settings. Lastly, I booked a spa treatment while I was here and that was also top notch. Therapist was skilled and the treatment helped me feel my best after a chaotic travel experience getting to Portland. (Sauna add on is also excellent.) tl;dr—If you’re thinking about staying here, do it! Hotel + staff excel at supreme comfort.

The hotel is lovely. The aesthetic is calming and the room appointments are top notch. Supported with excellent staff and service, the hotel allows one to find a corner and enjoy coffee or cocktails. Arrived not expecting the freshness, cleanliness and bright space. We walked from hotel to shopping and dinner down on the water. Easy and safe making the trip more colorful. The Tandem Bakery next door is worth the wait too!!

This newly built hotel exceeded all our expectations . The architecture , art, design, and decor is absolutely beautiful in this year old property . The bar is not to be missed as the staff makes amazing cocktails , service is perfect and the setting is stunning . The rooms are beautiful , spacious and extremely clean . Our view from our room was amazing . Hotel service is exceptional - we were provided with an early check in and late check out. We used their driving service to have dinner out at Solo downtown ( so good). The property is outside the tourist section of Portland which we preferred . We enjoyed just relaxing and resting at the hotel . We are already planning our return trip.

Our stay at the Longfellow was wonderful. Andrew checked us in and personally showed us to our room which had a lovely view. Upon returning to the hotel that evening, we ordered drinks from the bar and some snacks off the menu. Our Old Fashioneds were some of the best we’ve had, and the kale Caesar, oysters, and chicken and rice bowl were spot on delicious! The beds were very comfortable and there wasn’t street noise, so we slept very well. I would stay at the Longfellow again and highly recommend it!

We enjoyed a weekend away without our young children and this was a perfect spot to land. The decor was top notch, and the room was very clean and relaxing. The bar space in the lobby was inviting and the amenities were great. We used the complimentary car to take us to different restaurants. Excellent service and hotel experience!

Beautiful, clean, modern hotel with excellent service! Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful throughout our entire stay.
