I had checked Wyndham’s website and it showed the business was pet friendly. Upon arriving, I saw a self made printout that said pets were no longer allowed. When I told the front desk, he would not give me a room. I asked for my reservation to be canceled and my credit card to be reimbursed. He refused. He said the charge would drop off. I contacted corporate help line who didn’t want to start a case for me at first. I asked for a case to be initiated. I was told that the charge would fall off and my credit card not charged. 6 days later, I followed up and contacted customer service. I was told the manager claimed to have refunded my account, which was a lie because my account was still in charge not pending. I placed in dispute. Today, I contacted the management of Super 8 Kingswood. I was told it was my fault for showing up after 4. Otherwise I would have been credited. Again another lie. When I asked why they lied to corporate about refunding me, she said that never happened. Very shady business practices. I have never experienced this type of fraud in my life. Anytime, there was wrong information on their website, I have had cancellations without any problems. Even customer service for Wyndham verified the website was in accurate with the pet policy, said it was new, and the website would be updated. On top of that, I was charged $76 with all taxes on the website and charged $97 by the property owner. Like I said be careful if you choose to stay here.
