Be careful with being overcharged after you check out. Check your account because they charged me $410 for two nights when the guy on phone said $360. They also charged me $50 for alleged damage to sheets and had no intention of notifying me about it, they just take it out of your account. This used to be a good place, but lately, it has not been and I will never lodge there again.

Two-Night Stay – Disappointing Experience Overall We stayed for two nights and, unfortunately, left feeling underwhelmed. While there were a few positives, they were overshadowed by the overall condition of the property. 👍 What We Liked: The pool itself was enjoyable, though the surrounding area could use attention. Shower pressure was excellent—strong and consistent. The location is a definite plus: close to the Indiana Dunes and the town of Chesterton, making it convenient for exploring. The property was mostly quiet, which we appreciated. 👎 What Didn’t Work: Our room felt damp throughout the stay, even with the AC running. The room was in a noticeable state of disrepair—dated furnishings, worn surfaces, and a general lack of upkeep. We had trouble getting basic amenities like an extra towel, which was frustrating. The breakfast was disappointing and didn’t meet expectations. Despite a few redeeming qualities, we did not enjoy our stay and would not return. The location has potential, but the property needs significant improvements to offer a comfortable experience.

Our third stay here. The gardens/ landscaping were in poor state this time. Interiorly, it’s quite dark and dreary. Hallway carpeting could definitely d he et replaced to spruce up the stay. Room was adequate. Bathroom clean. Breakfast was ample and well done.

Very nice change of pace.
This place was beautiful. It was a welcome change from the traditional chain hotels. The location was great for our stop at the Indiana Dunes Nat'l Park. We only stayed one night, but knowing now how nice and quaint it was, I wish I had booked it for 2 nights. It did have a restaurant in the same area. We weren't really impressed with our meals, but that's just more of a personal taste/preference. The restaurant is separate from the Inn so that isn't any negative reflection of the Inn itself. It was beautiful.

A wonderful experience.
Great place to stay near the dunes and lake. Easy to get almost anywhere in the area. Can walk across the parking lot to get to Uno Pizza. The continental breakfast includes a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt and pastries. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful stay and will definitely include this hotel when I return to the area.

Charming location. In the woods so there are bugs but it’s part of the woodsy oasis experience. There are places to eat on the property and walking or driving distance to the Dunes park. Rooms are spacious but dates. We had a balcony that was weathered a bit so I did not feel comfortable going outside to stand on it. The view from the balcony window was beautiful and peaceful. There’s a nice size pool and sauna. Breakfast was redundant but decent: egg patties. Sausage links, continental breakfast item, and waffles.
Overall, I would stay here again.
