It was very rotten, very poor, and very old. I saw at least two big flying cockroaches inside. I was so scared that I had to fold up all the suitcases to sleep. The water in the toilet was also either ice cold or scalding hot. I felt very uncomfortable. Fortunately, it was only for one night. . . . . . . . . . .

Comfortable private bungalows with beautifully kept pools right at the door. Lovely caring staff with great memories and excellent service in all areas. Perfect child free place to relax and chill out. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were holidaying in Aussie and needed to get away for a weekend. We chose Vanuatu and the Mangoes Resort. Really wonderful and were surprised at the all round attention to detail from the service, food , cleanliness and the Resort in toto.The Vila had a unique tropical island view of the lagoon and hills in the distance. The Staff were attentive, the Food very exclusive. The Manager Chichi and her happy staff and the service made it all happen, Thank you Mangoes! The De Silvas from Sri Lanka

All up, just OK and mixed good and bad. I was disappointed by the meals and felt the food was quite small, ordinary and overpriced. Lack of attention to the basics like salt and pepper on bringing the meal Cockroaches in my room's kitchen cupboard (large ones). This place is a bit isolated so good if you have a car. I did not. So, I needed to walk quite a bit up hill and, in the heat, to find anything and no public transport going past the hotel. The reception does not sell cell phone recharge cards. Not a place for oldies. There was no work desk, but you can work from a small dining table but no power outlet close enough to plug in. However, a very pleasant view and comfortable room and lovely manicured gardens with pool. And the reception very friendly and lovely.

Nous avons été bien reçus avec un jour de retard suite à une panne d'avion que nous avions prévenu et justifié. Nous avions choisi un bungalow avec piscine privative qui était parfaite, par contre des bruits au réveil à 5h30 du matin ont été très désagréable venant du bungalow voisin, des jeunes riaient sans aucune gêne, ajouté à une mauvaise nuit à cause de la chaleur et je n'avais pas trouvé la télécommande du climatiseur. j'ai été porter réclamation à l'accueil, il en a suivi que cela n'a rien changé pour le bungalow voisin et pour la télécommande, fallait payer en plus???? aucune information à ce sujet sur le site?? le dimanche de notre réservation, un homme est arrivée le matin sans prévenir pour nettoyer la piscine, nous avions pensé être tranquille car pas de vis à vis et ben non, très mauvaise surprise encore. il aurait comme les femmes de ménage le font, cogner à la porte avant? Puis arrive le jour de la facture où ils ont compté la nuit où nous n'étions pas là malgré le courrier du transport aérien, ce qui fait beaucoup de choses qui ne me donnerons pas envie d'y retourner. Dommage, la chambre restait sympa.

Standout for me was the restaurant. The chef really knows his stuff. Had one of the best beef dishes in my life. The hotel is in a really beautiful setting, very quiet. I spent a lot of time just watching the lagoon and birds at my porch ( or listening to the rain when that happened) Each bungalow has a nice degree of privacy and wifi for each room so as long as the island is getting reception it works really well. A lot of other solo people (I think business people) were staying and/or eating at the restaurant. I would come again for sure as a nice treat. Buses pass by the front very regularly. There is no air con yet but it's been installed. The ceiling fans are very powerful yet quiet and as a VERY Northern English person, I survived my nights there so they work well. Plus there's a fridge in the room...bring some beers and chill listening to nature

The property and staff are great. They had an issue with AC not available but that isn't an issue for the future. Waiting on a taxi and availability of taxi after 9pm is a challenge. Local young men harass from the street while waiting on a taxi or any other reason you're out exposed.
