If you want to experience heaven, then The Havannah Vanuatu will come pretty close! My husband and I stayed from 6-11 Nov 2024 and we must say it was one of the best places we have ever been to! From the moment you arrive you are greeted with so much warmth, beautiful gardens, serene and quite surroundings and the most divine setting you could ever wish to wind down and relax in. We were blessed with perfect weather and we stayed in a Waterfront Villa which I would highly recommend. Extremely comfortable, clean and relaxing accommodation tucked away among green foliage and colourful flowers overlooking the calm and turquoise crystal clear water which you can walk straight down to from your room. We had little steps down to the water from the plunge pool. The water is so calm and a perfect temperature for swimming. The resort is immaculately kept with paths winding through the gardens to the main dining and bar area which overlooks the water. ALL staff working there are the most beautiful people with warm friendly smiles and always a happy greeting. They made us feel so well looked after. The food.....oh my, it is DELICIOUS!! You won't go hungry that's for sure. There is a different lunch and dinner menu everyday with starters, mains and desserts to choose from. The bar is well stocked with an extensive selection of drinks to satisfy any fancy. Breakfast is also delicious and stays the same menu each day. You can do as little or as much as you wish whilst staying at this resort and everything is designed to ensure you can relax and enjoy your stay. Coming from someone who is quite particular about being careful when selecting somewhere to stay and researching the quality of accommodation and services promised, I can honestly say I highly, highly recommend The Havannah and give it a HUGE 5/5 stars. To all the staff, thank you for making our stay so wonderful and unforgettable. Would love to return one day soon.

We had a fantastic stay at The Savannah. Our waterfront villa was lovely and very comfortable. The staff are all warm and welcoming and catered to all our needs. The resort has many activities included in the price and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend for a couples getaway.

We had an exceptional birthday holiday at this hotel.
From the moment we arrived at Port Vila airport, the experience was delightful.
Nelson warmly greeted us, assisted with our luggage, and offered cold mineral water and chilled towels on the bus, which was a refreshing start after our flight.
Upon arrival at the hotel, John and his friendly team welcomed us with music and singing, and the manager Raj greeted us at the lobby. The staff, including Davina, Helen, and our sunset cruise captain Joe , were all professional and super friendly.
The holiday was fantastic, with excellent activities and experiences arranged by the hotel. For snorkelling enthusiasts like us, exploring the stunning coral reefs of Moso Island, Island Picnic Experience and enjoying the sunset cruise were highlights.
On my birthday night, the hotel arranged for a local band to sing a birthday song for me while surprising me with a beautiful cake. I was genuinely touched by their thoughtfulness.
Although some signs of age are visible in the hotel's décor that could use updates; overall maintenance is still commendable.
The meals provided were delicious and well-presented; however we found some portions to be small due to our larger appetites haha. Additionally it would be great if more beverage options besides mineral water were offered in the minibar.
This vacation left a very positive impression of Vanuatu, and I look forward to returning!

Location. Service. Food. Peacefulness. Staff. Luxury. This place is best in class. Too much to mention. But if you and your partner are seeking total downtime in a paradise setting, with wonderful and caring staff, and exceptional all inclusive food, look no further. Vanuatu itself is an idyllic destination. The Havannah brings it all together. I married the girl of my dreams from 35 years ago and spent last week celebrating our wedding with Raj and his team. Thanks to all.

This was our first time visiting Vanuatu from Australia and we will 100% be back. We were staying on the port villa side of the island for a few nights and decided to go for a drive and passed the Havannah, seeing they did lunches and dinners we drove in planning to have lunch. Upon seeing how beautiful the resort appeared and how helpful and kind the staff were we asked if there was any availability for two nights as that was all we had left. A lagoon pool villa room was available and we thought why not! What a great decision that was it was a perfect two days and I cannot fault the resort in any way. All staff were brilliant and the kindest people we have met, in particular John if I could give that man 10 stars I would. The room was brilliant with views to die for, the staff were unbelievable and their service was second to none. The food breakfast, lunch and dinner were spot on the quality and effort that goes into it astounds me. If I could have that barbecue buffet night on the Wednesday every night after the fire show for the rest of my life I would, perfect! The snorkelling is great right off the shore and the sunset cruise with Marco was awesome, with dolphins swimming alongside the boat for a few minutes. Every woman’s dream! I already want to plan my next trip to the Havannah and bring my family along, a great time was had by myself and my wife. By far the best hotel we have experienced and I wish Australia had the same service when staying at a similar priced place. Just spent an amazing week at The Havannah and will be booking a return trip, which is something we just don't do. Our room was incredibly comfortable, the staff all beautiful people who made us feel like part of one big family, the snorkelling was next level and the spa one of the best massages I've had. The coral nearby is incredibly healthy and vibrant, with a ridiculous variety of fish. Wonderful to see so many hawksbill turtles all around and we were treated go seeing dugong twice! The marine environment is just thriving. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special.

Saying at The Havannah was one of the most relaxing holidays I’ve ever had. Stayed in a lagoon pool room which we loved. The staff were so wonderful and attentive, always happy and super helpful can’t praise them enough for making our stay so memorable. The food was so good, everything we ate was delicious. Cocktail hour watching the beautiful sunset was a highlight along with seeing turtles just off the beach while having breakfast. We also did a tour with Arthur which was another highlight, he was sensational would highly recommended it. You can do as much or as little as you like while staying in this stunning location at The Havannah the choice is yours to enjoy the time your way. Hope to return in the near future, thoroughly enjoyed our visit everything was perfect.

The Havannah Resort August 2024 I had visited beautiful Vanuatu before, we have sailed across the Pacific from Tahiti to Australia visiting many countries and island communities, and for 25 plus years we lived and worked in the tropical Whitsunday Islands region. Nothing has matched the grandeur, quality of service and wonderful enriching experience of our stay at the Havannah Resort. After the short (less than 3 hour) international flight to Port Villa, we were soon welcomed and ushered to our beach side Villa. The gentle lapping of the waves, enticing white sand beach and clearly visible carpets of coral, ensured we were instantly in ‘holiday mode’. Our internet search of Pacific destinations to find paradise, ocean swimming for my wife, free water sports, an all inclusive cost (not including drinks), kid free (sorry if I offend some), and a wide range of available tours and activities, consistently returned us to The Havannah. Our internet search findings were all exceeded in the reality of our actual experience. Over our almost two week stay, after breakfast, (and some exercise!), we shared casual beach and garden side lunches, and intimate dinners all of superb fresh cuisine. To our surprise and delight every lunch and dinner menu was different. Local dance, fire shows and music were provided over the week. We found the day time activity offerings were also extensive, from the active to the passive, from the informative (Arthurs Tours) to the mediative (massage), but the comfy day bed overlooking the azure blue sea was often our choice, and my nearby book the excuse to just relax. Home now, we have many wonderful shared memories, some new found friendships, lots of photographs and plans underway for our next Vanuatu paradise experience at The Havannah next year. This is a very nice place,well run and mostly a great experience. I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice relaxing break. The food was VERY good and the service professional and attentive.We stayed in a Lagoon room and found it very pleasant with a lovely relaxing view over the harbour, bed was firm and comfortable, the TV only shows a very snowy and grainy Channel 7 from Victoria and Sky news but does have U tube Prime and Net flicks. There are some books in a small library in the main lounge.The Wednesday cocktail party and Fire Dancing was top class.It is 40 minutes out of Vila but the road is not too bad and the shuttle into town daily is good ,but there's very little to see in town. The one thing where they fail badly is with the wine list, we enjoy white wines especially a chardonnay and there is only some very cheap and ordinary wine on the list. I am talking $10 AUD wines for $70 AUD ..I know there is a large duty on imported wines and I realize I am staying in a resort but give us a go..If I'm paying $70 for a wine I want something at least in the $25 to $30 range. Raj, the manager, is aware that the wines are ordinary and assures me they are working to improve them. Will we return...certainly but I'll ask for an update on the drinks before booking.
