Manresa Castle

Beautiful old hotel with lots of charm and a fascinating history. Comfy beds and great staff. Just stayed one night but wished it was for longer. Really enjoyed our stay!!

We have the same complaint as many seem to have, and they aren't doing anything to change it. I went with my mother to the lavender festival. When we got to the hotel, we realized we absolutely could not stay there due to disabilities and we're shocked at the shared bathroom by all on the same floor, I think. Anyway, we went very carefully downstairs, and I talked to the manager in the afternoon who told us, " i understand," and "go ahead see if we can find reservations elsewhere." She went on to say, " dont worry about anything. I will handle it!" I found out when our cc bill came, we were charged even after calling and being reassured when we got home. I spoke again with the hotel today, and a manager named J**ie answered, who was extremely rude! J**ie would not let me talk or explain the situation. Just that this was the first she had heard about any reimbursement and would not be following through with anything even though J**ie was who I talked to when we got home and called the hotel to follow up. She then slammed the phone in my ear! We will never stay there again, and they should really think about having a manager who treats people with disabilities or people in general the way she seems to think it's OK to do!

The building is nice and historic. Location is good with access to Port townsend. Rooms have very thin walls. You can hear everything and everybody. Views of the harbor if the room facing the harbor are nice.

Thank you It was great to return to a beautiful place after a long day and not have to see homeless in the area.

Always enjoy our stay at the Manresa Castle! The staff is always friendly and helpful!! It is such a unique and interesting place to stay!

This is a beautiful historic place, if you like sleek & modern this probably is not for you. Loved the architecture, antiques, history. The bed /bedding was comfy. Very clean. Beautiful harbor view. The mexican food restaurant on site was very convenient, tasty margaritas & live music on a tues. night. The only detraction was the shower was small & tight to get into.
