Port Townsend Inn

I would definitely not choose to stay here again, and would upgrade to something more than $200/night, which is about what we paid. Just a basic motel, super thin bath towels and only two provided, sheets and bed coverings old and worn, only one chair to sit in, super small shower stall, and I'm not a big person. The location is fine as it's a bit less than a mile walk into town, but the main road doesn't have any pedestrian crosswalks until you get closer to town, so walk with caution. It's a car town. On a positive not, the housekeeping staff were very accommodating when we asked for more towels.

Great location! Their rooms were decent. They advertise that they have a pool but the pool wasn't open (in the summer) and after reading reviews, it seems that the pool is always closed. I signed up for the "pay at the property option" but they charged my card on file 48nhrs before my check in. When I called they said it was their new policy. Again, false advertising. The gentleman on the ohone and at check in was very kind and welcoming. The person at check out was disengaged and barely said 1 word to me. While loading up the car, housekeeping was hovering and making loud sighs. As though they were irritated that we were taling too long to vacate the room. It was 10 AM and check out was at 11 AM. Overall, you getvwhat you pay for. I would stay again for the location, price and comfort of the room. My advise, don't bring your swimsuit and manage your expectations about customer service.

It’s a little hotel with a heat pump so you were warm or air conditioned as required. The room is small but okay for an overnight stay.
