3 Pines Lodge Muskoka

Really enjoyed our stay. Ate in the wing restaurant which was lovely and reasonably priced! Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of pastries, tea, coffee and cereals. Would highly recommend!

BEWARE! I booked a room for this lodge on an independent site (similar to *******, etc.) I was sent a confirmation email and was charged. I arrived at the lodge the day of our reservation and was told that there was no reservation despite me showing my confirmation. I was told there was no room and was left, with my son, to try to find a last minute room somewhere. I called the site I had booked on and they said they would look into it. They site representative called me back and told me that the staff had said that I was a "no show" and so I would still be charged despite having shown up and being told I had no room. Completely unethical. I am sure the hotel sold out room for more and then pocketed the money they made from our "no show" as well. Very poor business practices.

This is an old style three star lodge which definitely isn't fancy. However, our room was large and had everything we needed. We did have to ask for chairs but they were provided quickly. What we particularly liked was the peaceful atmosphere. A well kept beach on Mary Lake is only a few minutes walk away. Best of all was the restaurant/pub. It serves the best chicken wings and killer cheesecake. If you like fish, come here on a Friday. That's the only day they serve fish and it is very good!

Close to the beach and store. Restaurant staff are friendly. Rooms could definitely be cleaner but overall was a goof stay.

…reception forgot to come back to room and fix smart TV….so just had cable…I could have ask again
