Spruced up during Covid and a big yes for a clean room and great bed. Price very good for the venue. Would stay there again for sure.

What a letdown, have been staying here over the years and recommending it to other travellers but never again. It’s gone to the pack, used to be nice, clean with a decent breakfast pack but now for $145 you don’t even get the offer of paying for breakfast just nothing. The rooms were dirty, with insects flying everywhere, cobwebs, the shower leaked, the exhaust fan had no blades and was covered in dust and dirt. The people were nice but lacked people skills, they also charged my credit card hours before we arrived. Find somewhere else as that’s what I will be doing.

Greatly appreciated the room change to a larger one and the very obliging motel manager. Upon opening the door there was an overwhelming smell of stale cigarettes and rather ironically the first thing you see is the no smoking sign and the warning of imposing additional cleaning costs if you do. We had a pet friendly room, bed was super comfortable, rooms well appointed, great shower. All in all would recommend this motel to other travelers.

Sleepy Hill was fine for an overnight stay with our pooch. The room was very clean, had a great shower and all we needed to be comfortable.
It was a little noisier than I expected, being located on quite a busy road. Also there were several air conditioning units right outside our room which were running all night. Sadly for me, I'm a light sleeper!
