Super 8 by Wyndham Port Royal/Beaufort

Hotel was a bit pricey for the condition it was in. Room smelled like smoke, sheets were stained and supplies were minimum.

Nice overall. About what we expected: Pictures of place exaggerated, but in a good neighborhood appealing to high % of visitors of Bay, Islands, Military installations. Very Nearby Amenities: Royal Oaks Shopping Center at angle across street holds Grocery, Clothing, and Hardware stores. Within eyesight = Walgreens, Burger King, Circle K gasoline. Right straight across street is Sutcliffe Golf Cart store. Maybe Most Important: By location it's one block from newish large arched 4 lane McTeer Bridge to Lady's Island, Hunting Island St. Park, St. Helena Island, and Fripp Island. So it is a better situated Super 8 than, say, one that is really a housing unit in a mega city for workers aspiring to survive well enough. Rather, Port Royal's Super 8 has Continental Breakfast, again, as expected. Tides one over for the morning. Clean kitchen and good choices; fresh fruit and yogurt to boot. Coffee, Tea, Milk, OJ, and Energy Drinks as choices. Free Tourist Maps and free local newspapers available.

Snaggletooth receptionist, and nasty room. Roaches everywhere, slimy, shower, buildup, sheets were stained with only God knows what and the snaggletooth female receptionist had a nasty demeanor to match. I booked for 2 nights but quickly left the next morning taking a loss for the sake of me and my family health.

The nastiest place I’ve ever stayed!! Those pictures are not what it looks like in person. I got a room and it smelled like cigarettes and dirty sheets with yellow stains. When asked to change room the receptionist was bothered. She changed my room and it was worseeee!! Couch was dirty, towels had stains in them and in the morning when I woke up my 1 year old had a bug in his faceeeer!!!!! RIP OFFFFFF

I like the convenience of the location of the motel to Parris Island. The baseboards and the tub in the room were a little worn. The motel outside and the room didn't really look like the pics. Overall it was not that bad though. Convenience was the key!

The beds are very comfortable. The locations is great. The rooms are very clean. You are able to park right in front of your room.
