Stayed in the Heritage room for a week. Quite large with a comfy king sized bed. Everything you need - good size bathroom, kitchen with dining table inside or out on the deck. Spilt air con system and fans were great. Hosts were kind enough to provide some breakfast staples and wine which was greatly appreciated. Easy parking in the rear yard. In such a good location - across the road from the pier/beach. So many cafes and restaurants nearby. Door has an electronic key code lock - which is so handy - don’t have to worry about taking a key when you walk across the road for a swim. Managers were so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to stay again!

Clean tidy and well equipped, great communication from hosts and the bottle of wine and cookies on arrival wss a nice touch. Walking distance to jetty, beach and eateries. Location is short drive to McLaren Vale wine region which we enjoyed also.

I had a wonderful stay at McCloud House. Deb, Julie and Bob were pleasant and welcoming, and they provided all I needed for my stay. The house was so quiet, even though it’s on the Esplanade and there’s a constant flow of people walking along. The view from the Beach View room was incredible! The ocean, the Jetty; I loved having my afternoon tea on the balcony. To get to the beach, all I had to do was go downstairs, walk across the road, and I was there. There were so many places to see at Port Noarlunga and surrounds, and they were all within walking distance of the property. You can walk from Christies Beach to the Onkaparinga River Mouth View Point, with a rest stop at McCloud House along the way. The area is very friendly and I would love to visit again!

We recently stayed at McCloud House for a week, and it was a fantastic experience. The host Deb went above and beyond with her thoughtful touches and excellent communication. The accommodation itself was incredibly comfortable and cozy, with a lovely fireplace and a charming reading nook that made relaxing a pleasure. The location was perfect—no car needed, as there were numerous restaurants, cafes, and boutiques right outside. I highly recommend this place for a delightful and convenient stay!
