The Slipway B&B is a Grade II listed building that dates back to 1527 and is located opposite Port Isaac harbour. It features adults-only B&B accommodation with Restaurant & Bar on the ground floor with an outdoor terrace. All of the bedrooms have small en-suite bathrooms and some have panoramic sea views of Port Isaac harbour. Two rooms feature village views. The loft suite features a king-size bed and a small living area and a bathroom with a bath. The Restaurant specialises in local seafood has also a selection of non-seafood, vegetarian options are available and variety of drinks. It also serves Cornish cream teas and a range of scones, cakes and sandwiches made to order. Please check opening times as these may vary and some days Restaurant & Bar may be closed in season. The Restaurant and Bar will be shut between November and March. Please note there are no parking facilities by the B&B, you are welcome to drop off your luggage if you arrive earlier. The walk from and to the car park might take anything between 5-20minutes depending on physical stamina and might be difficult for older and disabled persons. In summer check-in time is between 4pm and 6pm, in winter between 2pm and 4pm. Breakfast is included in the price and provided between 8.30am and 9.30am. Check-out 10am. During winter only Continental breakfast will be served to the guests in the morning. Only during high season April till October full buffet and cooked breakfast will be available. The closest train station is Bodmin Parkway. You will require to pre-book a taxi to get to Port Isaac. Have visited the slipway on numerous occasions but never to stay . It certainly didn’t disappoint from booking ,communication has been excellent . Check in was easy quick tour of them room which by the way was lovely and clean . We had a table booked that evening and the food and service again didn’t disappoint burger was great and the fish and chips amazing. We both had a great nights sleep ready for breakfast the next day . The choice was great . Thank you for a great stay would definitely recommend to anyone

The hotel was really good, rooms were well set out, spotlessly clean and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options and was well organised so you didn’t have to wait long. The other meals served in the restaurant were very good, good portions and at reasonable prices. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here (second time) and would definitely stay there again.

Welcoming and charming Air BnB, perfect location to the bottom Harbour and easily walkable to get around the rest of the town. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners were lovely. We will most definitely stay again next time we’re in England!

Port Issac is an incredibly beautiful coastal town. The hotel was right across from the harbor, the room was very nice- bed very comfy. The staff was beyond helpful, accommodating, and kind. There is a car park at the top of the town, and a town shuttle that will bring you and your luggage right into the heat of the town. Highly recommended!

While the room was small it was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs. The balcony was wonderful and a great place to have a drink and watch the world pass by. There biggest problem we found was day visitors parking in long term car park (closer to the town) leaving no parking for visitors with luggage and it is a long walk uphill with luggage to the alternative car park.

We loved The Slipway from the moment we arrived! Stephen and his team can’t do enough to recommend things to do locally. The view from room 5 is wonderful - the platt, the harbour, the pharmacy from Doc Martin. The room decor is lovely. You are right next to The Golden Lion - perfect for a quick walk home after a night on the balcony with your feet up drinking and chatting to other visitors or locals. To the left is the road up to Doc Martin’s cottage - perfect for a quick visit before all the day trippers arrive. Breakfast is delicious with a few cooked options on offer - yum! We will be back!

The Slipway was a great place to stay, and they served a very good breakfast. And the staff was very friendly. We had a room whit a balcony, with a view to the sea. Everything was within walking distance. If you are going to Corwall, Port Isaac is a must to visit.

Stayed as part of our SWCP walk. Location is brilliant, right on the harbour and next to the trail, close to lots of nice restaurants. Room was nice, clean with a decent bed and shower. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Small but perfect. Great stay , clean, quiet , warm and comfortable. Great view of harbour. Fantastic breakfast. No parking but you can easily drop off stuff and then go and park . Helpful team working there and good communication re checking in and key collection,
