Usual Big4 operation. Decent sized cabin and all amenities available. Quiet and in a great location near the beach. Shower worked extremely well. Great value for money especially if one has 3 or 4 kids.

It was a lovely location but the cabin needs upgrading, especially the bathroom. You need to get in the bath to shower and there was mould around the bath. There needs to be ceiling fans in bedrooms, as the air conditioner doesn’t reach. Otherwise it was a good sized cabin

We've been coming to Pt Elliot every summer for the last 11 years. We love the location but that's about all we love. The park is very run down. Nothing has been updated or upgraded in that time. Half the playground is now missing, the beds in the cabins are uncomfortable with more items missing every year (bedside lights, oven trays) and the lawns are dead. Yet, the prices over the summer school holidays are excessively high! Oh, and every year we get told that they are planning some upgrades in the coming year. We have yet to see any! Come on Port Elliot, lift your game.

Unfortunately, the owners of this Big4 are very much letting the brilliant location sell for them. We stayed here about three years ago and it was in need of upgrading, repair and maintenance then. It’s clearly not been done and the park has been left to a state of disrepair. The cabins are in desperate need of upgrading and are generally not well cleaned or maintained. There was mould spawning on the ceiling above the shower cubicle, none of the window screens fit, hence the bug and spider problem, the floor tiles are all cracked and need replacing, the door locks and handles are faulty and the water pressure is far too strong and too hot despite trying to adjust the temperature. The park itself sports dead grass almost everywhere and the playground is a dirty sandpit of rubbish.
There was also a miscommunication regarding a deposition not being taken at time of booking and at check in, the woman was rather rude when I queried it and wanted to check my banking before paying the full amount.
We won’t be staying here again. Highly recommend The Beach Huts at Middleton or other local caravan parks.

This is a site comment. The sites were just dirt with little grass - clearly no watering had been done. Toilet cleaning and rubbish collection were substandard. The only positive is the beauty of the beach - Horseshoe Bay. The price per night should deserve better facilities for campers.

We stayed in a cabin this year, which was a great alternative to our usual powered site. Excellent facilities in the cabin, cozy and very comfortable. Air conditioning was a bonus as we had a couple of very hot days. Or stays here never disappoint.
