It’s our 2nd visit & we stayed in the beautiful bungalows which were really comfortable with a small kitchenette. The staff were really friendly, lovely breakfasts. My choice for a lunch was a club sandwich which was fab. It has a great location in front of a small beach which was kept tidy by the lovely staff.

Stunning hotel right by the beach. Great staff and very comfy bed. Highly recommend visit to Princess Margaret beach too.

This hotel is situated in a natural, picturesque and beautiful location. Close to the main town of Port Elizabeth, close to the best beaches on the island. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds contain several fruit trees and green spaces. It is also quite close to the beach front so you can hear the waves from your room. Internet available throughout the compound. The rooms are semi-modern with standard basic amenities. The cable television service is not reliable. The menu options at breakfast are limited (unsure if this is only in the off season). Overall, this hotel is definitely recommended.

Had a lovely stay at the Plantation. Our room was right on the beach and had great views across the bay.
The room itself was a good size and the staff were very friendly.

The rooms were nice. The front desk welcomed me warmly. Everywhere else, however, the service staff were not particularly friendly or service minded. The restaurant - never felt welcomed particularly. The towel/snorkel shack was always hit and miss if it was staffed. The small beach in front of the hotel is ok, but fortunately a 10 min walk to Prince Margaret beach is must better. All in all, did not feel I got value for the amount I was paying.
