Quality Inn

Overall, this hotel is run-down. Our room itself was clean, but common areas and exterior areas were dirty. We requested/reserved a waterfront room with a view of Lake Erie, but got a view of the pool instead. Also, there was no hair dryer and no WiFi. The weekend staffing was foreign college students who were unresponsive to our inquiries about the hairdryer and WiFi.

Our room, which is supposed to be smoke free, reeked of smoke and smelled musty. The bathroom had mold in the bathtub, part of the "desk" that held the mini fridge was falling apart after appearing to have been damaged by moisture. The beds weren't the worst thing I've slept on, but the blankets and sheets were itchy and very cheap, and the breakfast was very lacking. I honestly wouldn't stay here again. Not at the price we paid.

BED BUGS!!!!Disgusting is an understatement!!! All the way from the lethargic staff when we checked in to the first opening of the hotel room door the place reeked of old dingy basement smelling rooms,, to the dead cock roaches squished all over the bathroom floors,, the unreasonable amount of animal hair and human hair on the floors bedding, the stains on literally every wall, carpet, bed sheets, pillow cases,, EVERYTHING IS REPULSIVE!! Even a leftover can of FOGGER they forgot to remove from the shelf. When I seen this I told the staff and asked if there is any way they can clean the room better it looked like they just folded the sheets back up after a family of dogs moved out.. the response was as if it annoyed them.. I told them we were going to get some dinner and would be back. After returning a couple hours later I came back to the same disgusting room I originally walked into.. so I pulled the mattress up and started looking closer and saw bed bugs scurry in every hole and fold in the bed!!! Immediately grabbed my bags and went to the lobby and asked for a refund and told them about the issues and now bed bugs!!! The staff could have cared less and just gave me the card for the manager and said there is nothing we can do.. The place needs shut down!! They are preying on tourists with families that have no choice because the room is already booked.. BED BUGS EVERYWHERE!!! Stay away!!!

Bed Bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs.... did i mention bed bugs. there were holes in the mattresses that our employees saw them crawling in and out. There were more bugs than just bed bugs as well. We had multiple rooms, (4) and this was all reported to the could care less staff. we all left the hotel and did not stay there. Now the manager/ owner (s) are not communicating with us We will be contacting the proper authorities as well as out credit card company.

This hotel is a joke. We booked a room and then last minute did not need it and called and cancelled it. The hotel staff did not cancel it on their end. Rather, the hotel staff gave our room to someone else under our name (they did not check any ID) - allowed someone to stay in the room overnight. The hotel staff for the next day called me and demanded that we remove our items as we had not checked out yet. We NEVER even checked in - (room had been cancelled) - someone at the front desk should be held accountable for this. I have called and no one will own up. We have been charged for the room. I will never stay in this brand of hotel again. Disappointed and disgusted.

Nice place on Lake Erie. Several restaurants in walking distance. Good breakfast. Comfortable room and a whirlpool bathtub.
