The Tamarind Tree Hotel and Restaurant

Very poor service. There is no help desk as there is no office. We have to carry our luggage to 3rd floor. Only 1 staff to cater for everything. Resturant is a sham. It takes hours for service to be rendered. The rooms are cramed. They failed to provide airport transfer. The only staff promised and did not provide.

In reality Hotel Tamarind Tree is a Cheap Lodge which has a Country Liquor Bar bang at the entrance of this Lodge, we had to carry all our 4-Suitcases all by ourselves up to the 2nd Floor, No Lifts, Services virtually non-existent, this so-called Family Room has a 6 ft*2 ft {Length * Breadth] Toilet, No Parking facilities , Wi-fi doesn't exist ,Restaurant on the 4th Floor, Toileteries apart from Poor man's nano sized Medimix soap nothing more is available, a non-functional TV is hung on the wall, less said the better about the performance of their AC in their North Bay room, a torn curtain on single window, Food quality was so-so. Since we [a family of four] barely checked in & checked out within 30 minutes from this suffocating & claustrophobic atmosphere.Seeing the pathetic state of affairs I spoke to our Tour Organiser Ms Asha of ANDAMAN BLISS,I even sent her photographs of this lodge showing the state of affairs of this Shady place but she expressed her INABILITY to find another DECENT ACCOMODATION for my family in a Decent hotel without forfeiting our money paid in this shabby Lodge advance payment plus paying up an additional AMOUNT OF Rs 8000/-. So Friends, kindly Pause...thinkTen times before wasting your Hard earned money on such shady Lodge masquerading as Decent Budget Hotel..
