Facilities: The electric heater does not work, but the air conditioner can be adjusted to heat. The water quality is not good, and the front desk will provide bottled water instead, which can be refilled if it is not enough.
Hygiene: The room is very clean, but the water quality is not good, it is very yellow. When checking in, the front desk clearly informed me that this is not tap water and cannot be taken.
Environment: Port Arthur used to be a prison. I have to admire Dai Ying's vision. This place can be said to be the Ningguta of Australia. Now it is more like a tourist attraction, not even a small town.
Service: The front desk can probably be open until 8 pm. The room was a bit cold, and the front desk lent me a small sun, which was very useful!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fox and Hounds Historic Hotel. Very clean, warm and comfortable room. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is amazing. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

A quaint hotel close to the historic Port Arthur site. We were given a cosy 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, lounge and dining area so we cooked the food we already had. Great service from the reception staff. Can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't eat there. I would definitely stay there again. No hesitation in recommending this budget hotel for accommodation.
