Just perfect, nice, and relaxing
I think I've seen different people at the reception every time I went to this hotel, but each and every one is just as nice and helpful. The included breakfast and dinner are also great. So many different things to choose from and all delicious. I love going here.

Always perfect and well organised
A quick and friendly check-in. The room was spotless. I had not counted on a free evening meal, but it was very good. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of different things, including Norwegian options. Very nice!

Served an evening meal as part of room rate. No complaints as the food was good. Best to get down early as the heat lamps don't keep the food as warm as I like. However it was still good.
Only thing missing was hot chocolate. :-)

We stayed one night and had opted for a Premium room. The hotel has a nice lobby with a Mid Century vibe (nice set of vintage Fritz Hansen chairs). Staff was welcoming and check in was easy as we had prepaid. Our corner room was the largest we had during our trip to Norway. We also were excited that it had a bathtub!
The hotel has an interesting history.
There was a great breakfast buffet and surprisingly, a buffet dinner was also included. It seemed the hotel was housing some workers with a local factory and breakfast and dinner was part of the “deal”. So all the guests benefited. We were first worried about noise, but there was no issues as they were up early.
Porsgrunn is a nice town on a river, with an interesting history as the center of Norwegian porcelain production. It is also the base for people interested in renting boats to explore the river and canals. We found it a surprise and glad we spent some time there.

Fint hotell, men uproff ladepraksis
En fint opphold, god frokost, store rom, men med ett problem. Det ble sagt at det var lademuligheter. At ladeboksene kan være opptatt er helt greit, men begge dagene jeg var der stod samme hvite ID.3 elbil parkert foran ladeboksen uten å lade, og tok dermed opp plassen. OG, det så ut som om det var en ansattbil (pga kortet i frontruta). Hvis det er tilfelle, er det uprofft. Bilnummeret var ED 70052

Hyggelig hotell sentralt i byen
Enkel inn- og utsjekk, ok frokost og stort rom! Bonus var at de hadde 2 gratis ladeplasser til bil OG den ene var ledig til meg! Kanskje litt slitent hotell, men det tok de igjen på blid/hyggelig resepsjonist.
