I have used this hotel several times. Superb location, nice staff and good food (I will recommend the local cuisine). I like that they show their history and stick to it. The room was clean and the bed gave me a good night sleep. I don’t need more and will come back.

Helt greit hotell. Gir deg det du trenger, nemlig et sted å sove. Noe slitne rom. Ankom frokosten ca en halvtime før den var ferdig hver dag under oppholdet, og det var da relativt utplukket av enkelte ting som blant annet egg/bacon. Easy to arrive but you may end up to a terrible ro
No greetings when we arrived, this seemed a little bit strange. Our room in a second floor had a terrible smell and the front desk lady told me she couldn't change our room. Then I noticed the shower was also broken. This time a very helpful front desk gentlemen changed our room to another on the third floor. Breakfast was ok.
