I came for the Sunday roast today and I highly would recommend!! we had a superb meal today! With a very lovely view looking out up on the water, very quick service and lovely servers especially lotty who helped us with our itinerary in Poole!!

We stayed three nights. The room was well designed. Bed very comfortable. Food in restaurant was also very good. Right on water front so nice views and some stunning sunsets. We also did a tour with Stuart. Excellent and interesting of past present and future of the RNLI. Had a go in their very impressive simulator. Don't miss it. And profits go to RNLI

We stayed at the RNLI college for a couple of nights , The rooms are very good with fantastic views, breakfast was very good, But the evening meal a slight disappointment but good value all the same, we did the Discovery tour on the Sunday a must do when staying here, very informative and interesting , the time spent in the simulator was fantastic, for a small fee we also did the boat building tour on the Monday again a fantastic experience with a fantastic host and so impressive that they build the boats in house with a relatively small team. We would fully recommend a stay in this wonderful welcoming hotel with the added bonus of being very interesting.

Went for a winter weekend break. Weather was grim but the hotel was great. Nice, friendly feel, very welcoming especially the reception staff. Had good coffee and drinks in the Riggers Bar. Good views over the harbour. Went out for evening meal so can’t comment on the restaurant dinner, but the breakfast was superb. The room was bright, clean, tidy and well appointed.

Very comfortable room with plenty of space and a large window overlooking the lake. The receptionists were welcoming and helpful. A tour of the college was included and this was interesting and informative with the lifeboat simulator being the highlight. Breakfast was excellent as was the dinner on the day of our arrival. The Bar and Restaurant are both attractive venues.Excellent all-round experience.

We stayed 2 nights and attended a Christmas party. The breakfast was freshly cooked and there was an excellent choice for all apetites. The staff were welcoming efficient and helpful. The rooms were spacious clean and the beds were comfortable. The food at the Christmas party was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay & would return again

Just been to a Christmas party there and stayed the night and it was great, lovely venue, lovely rooms, lovely location and views… Really nice place and would definitely stay again. The staff were fantastic too. One little gripe was the food! The Christmas dinner at the party was at best, poor! And if I’m honest, the breakfast buffet the next more wasn’t great. We were one of the first in there so everything was set out and piled high. But it was all over cooked, rock hard, bone dry and stone cold. Not the best. And I’m sorry to main having had such a nice stay. As said, would definitely go back regardless. 👍🏻

Comfy, well appointed and clean rooms with extremely welcoming and helpful staff. College tours give a fascinating insight into the RNLI and are highly recommended. Meal options in the Restaurant are all from a buffet selection so of limited choice - and a bit average for the price.

I visited the college with a group. It is a very interesting place to visit, with knowledgeable volunteer guides. The lifeboat simulator was a highlight of the trip, tricking your brain into feeling like the real thing , not an experience for those who get sea sick 😄. The views from the cafe and restaurant across the harbour were lovely, and open to the public, even if you don't visit the college. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try out the food etc., so a return visit is planned. This feels like a hidden gem.
