The location is very good, right in front of the Pontresina station. The staff were kind and welcomed us warmly even though it was before check-in time. There was a restaurant on-site, so we had no trouble finding dinner. The room was clean. The shower booth only had what appeared to be body soap, and the tube was clogged, so we couldn't use it, but we brought our own shampoo and other items, so it wasn't a problem. The water pressure was sufficient and water didn't leak outside the booth. It was quite cold in the mornings and evenings in mid-April, but if we closed the windows and curtains, the room was warm and we slept well. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, with a wide variety of breads, cheeses, hams, yogurt, fruits, and drinks.

Mi sono accorta lo stesso giorno della prenotazione di aver sbagliato a digitare le date corrette e mi sono scusata chiedendo di poterle cambiare o di ricevere un voucher spendibile, di trovare comunque una soluzione insieme. Purtroppo non sono riusciti a venirmi incontro per nulla e hanno rifiutato qualsiasi soluzione dicendomi che c’era già scritto nel contratto che avrei perso la quota intera in caso di disdetta. Capisco mantenere una linea di lavoro coerente ma credo che si possa essere flessibile in casi particolari come questo. Peccato..

Die Geschäftsleitung hat mir CHF 900.00 abgebucht, ohne Buchungsreservation und nach Bestätigung von keine Reservation! Ich bin seit 10 Jahre regelmässig in dem Hotel in Pontresina, entweder für meine Langlauf Ausbildung oder für den Engadiner! Mit dem Wechsel vom Besitzer sind die Preise nach oben gegangen, ohne Verbesserung! Dazu das Verhalten der Geschäftsführung genau so wie beim Personal, nur schlecht! Dubiose Führung!

Hotel with a great location and accommodations. The train is right out front so there’s perfect access to surrounding areas and hiking. Ricardo’s restaurant had wonderful breakfasts and their lasagna was fantastic! We would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel, booked with Booking Com. They do not mention the negative experiences. WiFi in the central hall good but in bedroom bad connection. We found negative but Booking Com does not mention that in the review, otherwise good and perfect Italian restaurant. Morning breakfast is good.

As in previous years, I spent the holidays at Pontresina. There has been a change of ownership at the Hotel Station. Unfortunately, as a guest, you have to adapt to the language of the staff and that is only Italian. Unfortunately, dinner didn't inspire me anymore and I didn't do well either! Rooms are very spacious and the location for the cross-country ski trail is great.
